I visited Texas Chicken Plaza Merdeka around 12am for takeaway, and what I experienced was beyond disappointing — it was disrespectful, careless, and totally unprofessional.
The female cashier on duty was lazy, rude, and completely disinterested in her job. She barely acknowledged me when I placed my order, and even worse, started gossiping about my order right in front of me with another staff member. That alone already shows a shocking lack of professionalism.
After preparing my food, she didn’t even bother handing it to me. She placed it behind the counter and disappeared to the back to continue chatting. I stood there waiting for nearly 5 minutes, thinking my food wasn’t ready. Only after I asked did she finally say, without any apology, that it was done — and she said it with a dismissive, couldn’t-care-less attitude.
When I asked why she didn’t inform me or give me the food, she ignored me entirely and just walked away again. This is disgraceful customer service. No customer should ever be treated this way.
If your staff can’t be bothered to do their job, then they shouldn’t be working at all. Customers are not there to tolerate bad attitudes or wait around like fools while your cashier is busy gossiping.
