Dear Top Management and Team at Chili's 1Utama , PJ, Selangor, Malaysia,

Im a patron at your 1 Utama Shopping Mall outlet for decades and this outlet is the best !

My family and I made many visits this year, latest being just today 9 June 2025 at 1 pm , and we are truly impressed by the overall impeccable service rendered.

Was attended by 4 persons : Mr Prem, Mr Narayan, Mr Shakil and Mr Ashwin who were so dedicated, hard working , helpful, pleasant, proactive, and accommodating to our needs.

Overall an excellent service experience given by Mr Prem, Mr Narayan, Mr Shakil and Mr Ashwin under Mr Hussin Miswan' supervision who have always been so attentive and proactive, going all out to serve the best to everyone.

Mr. Hussin Miswan is a truly natural born leader, an exemplary one and displaying good leadership characteristics who havr trained the team very well.

Well done and Congratulations Mr Hussin Miswan in managing the outlet so well and excellently even during peak hours.

Thank you to all of them and Team Chili's 1 Utama Malaysia for the consistent top notch service.

Also thanking the Kitchen Team , the Head Chef and all team members for the delicious food , and selections , very professionally prepared and served. Excellent Kitchen Team ! Im still dreaming about the F & B's selections tgat I wish I can have them all every day. Today we all had Rib Eye steaks , unlimited refill drinks.

Thank you to all of them , we really appreciate and been recommending to families and friends. All of them certainly deserve the credit , I know as we are regular patrons.

Hope they all will be rewarded accordingly for their hard work, utmost dedication and sacrifices to give the best to customers , no matter what. Not an easy job especially during high volumes. Bravo Team Chili's 1 Utama Malaysia !

I went to this branch with my family for dinner requested by my kids. As usual, the place was packed around 8pm and we waited about 30mins for our seat. We are seated around 8:30pm. Everything went well, food was excellent….except for a bad service by a server named Jiwan. I always believe good food and good service comes in a package for all F&B outlets especially the established ones.

My kids requested for a top up for their drinks 3 times from this guy around 9:23pm. During this time, the crowd has subsided. We called Jiwan after he has attended to the table just in front of us, he acknowledges with a thumbs up and walked to the other end of the restaurant. We waited for him to come back but he never did. About 5mins later, he came back to serve the table in front of us again. After he attended to them, I asked him about the refill, again he acknowledges but to my kids disappointment he did not come back…again! I kept my eye on him for about 5 more minutes to see if he’s really that busy. He again walked passed us and ignored us….again. Finally I asked a trainee waiter, who I believe he was busier than Jiwan to help us with the refill. He attended to us immediately and we got our refill within a minute.

I was quite furious about Jiwan’s attitude. I worked as a waiter before in a 5 star hotel and no matter how busy I was, I always make sure that I serve my customer well. And if I’m overloaded, I’ll ask for my colleague for help. I never ignore my customers and I’ll make sure they get what they want. I then spoke to one of the front desk personel, I believe her name is Elfie and told her about Jiwan’s attitude. She told me that he’ll talk to him.

To the manager of this branch, your food is excellent but service by Jiwan can be improved. Do take some time to speak to him and consider giving him a refresher course in your...

My wife and I wanted to have a dinner here after a long day at work. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was no one waiting at the entrance. The waiters saw us standing at the restaurant entrance, waiting to be seated, and they ALL pretended that we weren't there.

Finally after a long moment of waiting (we really wanted to have our dinner there), this waiter named Yogesh (he refused to spell it although he had no problem telling me his name) finally appear from somewhere behind in the restaurant. He told us wait for 15 minutes (sounded like 50 minute, he can't even pronounce fifteen properly).

I noticed an empty table in there, there was absolutely no one sitting there. I then pointed out the table and asked politely if we can take that table. He simply replied,loudly, and very impatiently: "We know what we're doing, just give us your name and wait for your table". I was baffled by the rudeness. I was merely suggesting, and this is the kind of attitude I get.

This is the 3rd time I've visited this premise. Every single time, I'm met with waiter / waitress with various level of rudeness. No wonder there are not many customers visiting this premise in the normal hours. I suppose the occasional crowd didn't visit the premise that often. It makes me wonder too if Chili's trained their employees at all.

In the end I decided this is the last time I'm taking this kind of attitude from Chili's. Suffice to say we've banned the restaurant indefinitely.
