The dining experience at this locally founded cafe, specializing in Malaysian Northern favorite cuisine, is a journey into bold flavors and comforting dishes. The spotlight shines on their Assam Laksa and Curry Mee, undoubtedly the best-selling items on the menu.

As you take your first spoonful of the Assam Laksa, you're greeted with a burst of tangy and savory flavors in the rich broth. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the generous toppings of shredded fish, cucumber, and mint add layers of texture and freshness to each bite. The Curry Mee is equally impressive, with its creamy and aromatic broth that's a perfect balance of spice and coconut milk. The bowls are loaded with ingredients like tofu puffs, shrimp, and chicken, creating a hearty and satisfying meal.

What sets this cafe apart is their attention to detail with the broth, which are truly flavor bombs, packed with spices and herbs. To enhance the experience, they provide an array of over-the-counter condiments, allowing you to customize your dish with extra spice, tanginess, or depth of flavor according to your preference.

To complement the bold flavors of the dishes, they offer an icy cold Longan drink, refreshing and sweet to balance out the spicy and savory notes of the food. The combination of the tangy laksa, creamy curry mee, and the cool sweetness of the Longan drink creates a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate, making each bite and sip a...

First time i went to ah cheng ioi, usually i went to alamanda outlet. Bagai langit dan bumi perbezaan dia, i have my high expectation on the ABC sebab the only reason i dine in at ah cheng is for their famous ABC. So as usual we scan the barcode and placed the order, i received my ABC literally soaking in water with a tower of ice in the middle, baru buat xkan dah cair, dalam kepala saya. So i was like, maybe it’s hot in the store, which memang panas pun. So i tastes it, rasa susu macam dah nak masam, at this moment it kills my mood tapi because dah bayar 10rm per mangkuk, slowly finishing it. Balik rumah sakit perut, till morning duduk dalam tandas due to sakit perut. So im guessing it’s because of the susu masam, so with my sincerely heart leaving this review in hoping that management at ah cheng laksa ioi city mall do their part, check on your food handling procedure. Why alamanda outlet can be as good as is but not the ioi city mall outlet? This will be my first and last visit to ioi city mall outlet. The picture i attached is from ah cheng laksa alamanda outlet, look at how cold it is. No water at all...

The stall is suitably and pleasantly decorated. As the name suggests, food lovers can expect to find laksa here, assam or curry to choose. Then you have an assortment of other Malaysian food like nasi lemak rendang, pan mee, rice with herbal chicken soup or curry chicken, etc. The snack varieties like the cucur udang, keropok lekor, toasted bread or chai kuih won't disappoint you. More economical to order by following the tea time sets. I tried the asam laksa. Wow! Tasty and got the kick of eating something sour, spicy, tangy and sweet. Yes, some may not like the sweet overtone in the laksa, Ah Cheng style !
