Sabah Shio ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My mother had this. She seemed to enjoy it although she commented it could have been grilled just a little bit longer to give it that distinctive aroma and flavor.

Mentaiko Onigiri ⭐⭐⭐ I ordered this without knowing the Onigiri would be roasted. So it came with the mentaiko thoroughly cooked through. Because of this, the mentaiko flavor was mellowed out. I prefer its raw form as the flavor has a more intense briny taste.

Salmon Chazuke is ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is pan fried (?) salmon layered on top of a plate of rice with the tea as soup that you poured over. There are 3 different condiments to add - spring onions, wasabi and tiny ball sized crackers before you as the tea soup. With the wasabi, the whole dish tasted rather interesting with mild taste of the soup. You get the mild and comforting taste of the soup juxtaposing with the aggressive and pungent taste of the wasabi. All of this made it very interesting inside my mouth. The salmon is a bit dry but it was balanced out with the soup. Overall, I found it quite nice.

Gettsusui Matcha Cheese Cake ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another rare occasion for me where a dessert win over the mains. I really like this cheesecake. Here, you get a balanced sweet flavor from the creamy cheesecake and the earthy and aromatic flavor from the matcha. Somewhere in between, you also get the slight tanginess of the strawberry flavor. I wouldn't mind having another piece if I could. My capacity was only limited by my no longer robust...

My husband and I have the best experience with their food and the staff here. All of them are very welcoming with their sweet friendly smile. This is NOT our first time dining here, and it won’t be the last. We are happy that some of the staff even remember us. That is how frequently we come and enjoy our time here. Don’t let the few bad reviews stop you from trying it out yourself.

Every food has calories listed, so people can easily track their calories without feeling guilty. The food here is very healthy, and the portion is just right—just like how the Japanese people would eat.

I forgot to take pictures of our food before making this review so we ordered their new menu which is the black sesame cake or Kurogoma Peanut cake and their Shadow latte with black sesame paste just for some pictures.

I want to thank all the staff and the chefs for giving us such a great experience and tasty food. I wish the management would Install a TIP BOX so customers can show their appreciation to all of them.

I would say it's pricey with what quality I got. I ordered Australian beef steak chazuke. I would say the tea smells so good and tastes good too. Paying 58 with a little steak is fine but the steak is so tough and hard to cut! I was expected to cook at a tender level. The other is Australia beef katsu curry n I would say curry is good but beef is still having the same problem. Additionally, the beverage getsusui matcha not vegetal enough. The three stars are given for the tiramisu, Getsusui matcha tiramisu. I don't really taste much matcha instead, I only taste cream. But the tiramisu texture is good with chocolate balls? (I guess not so sure). Although it might be my problem because I visited there at 9 pm* we would prefer to have a seat inside but were told that the session is closed. 🥶 Initially, it is quite hot outside luckily, there’s a heavy rain that makes me feel better...
