Food is okay (not amazing) but this one-star rating is for the very, very, very horrible customer service.
They posted on their IG story that they are running a 20% promo for takeaway orders of more than 6 boxes and to contact their number at +60 14-330 6177. Texted my orders at 10:43am, radio silence till 11:24am to only get the response that "sorry we only accept food orders from Beepit, Grab and Foodpanda". Also, if I hadn't called to see if you've seen my message, you'd probably take another lifetime to reply. Anyway okay fine. No discount so I advised them to either stop running the promo or be clearer with their T&C's at IG.
Anyway at this rate I was pretty frustrated dealing with them already and I proceeded to place my Beepit delivery order at 11:40am. Almost 2 hours later at 1:30pm, my order finally arrived (mind you, my office to the restaurant is literally 5 minutes drive away). Ok fine but guess what? My order is WRONG. I waited 2 hours for my order to be missing 2 boxes? I've lost my patience, WhatsApp messaged them to tell them my order is wrong and to call me back ASAP, no response. No choice, I had to spam call that number 6 times and for them to answer on my 7th attempt of calling. Seriously what's the number for if it's so difficult to reach you?? If you're too busy to reply, at least a text saying you'll revert later is better than nothing at all. Anyway poor girl answered. It's not her fault, it truly is a busy day, she apologized and promised to have my missing orders delivered ASAP. I appreciate that but are you not going to offer something in return for ALL the hassle I've gone through? I'd even appreciate a RM5 coupon man, not even expecting a free meal.
Please Kubis & Kale, take a page out of myBurgerlab's book and learn to serve your customers properly and most importantly answer all your calls and messages. Your food may be pretty decent (in my case it was average at best), but this experience killed it for me and I will be very hesitant to give you any...

Cons: Portion too small. The amount of pasta they gave was just less than quarter of the bowl. Not fillings enough. I saw a guy had two bowls because too small the portion. Waiting time too long. Waited more than half and hour to get my food. And when I asked why people behind me got the food first, he asked me to wait. I saw my food on the counter there and it was my super bowl but he didn't allow me to take, he said have to wait. Eh hello? Wait for? Then he asked me be seated first. He later will call my number. But then when I walked and wanted to sit down, he shouted and asked me go and get the food from the counter. Just now he didn't let me to take my food, holding the tray so tightly when I want to take. Then one mins later when I was about to sit down, he asked me to take. He said sorry and I asked how about my friend's super bowl? (I saw another bowl on the counter, very obvious was my friend's one) I asked can I ask my friend to take? She is HANGRY too. Then he asked me wait again. Okay, the food just placed there for few more mins, then only i saw another guy pressed the machine and the called the number. I don't understand why they can stand over there laughing and talking but then take so long to call the number. Then the food just place over there. Saw many got wrong orders. Saw some asked why they didn't put the correct sides. They even missed out one of my side. Where is my caramelized onions? They only said sorry. Another thing was the queue at the cashier side so long cause only one cashier and very slow the worker. Many sides haves finished so left few choices only. Dissapointed.
Hopefully next time when I want to eat a small portion of food, I might come here again or else I think I might not be coming back anymore, it is better to have healthy poke bowl in pyramid, same price with better service and decent portion. If I visit again, I hope, finger crossed, by that time, please make some...
Read moreI’m not someone who usually leaves bad reviews, as I understand how challenging it is to manage staff, maintain food quality, and run a business.
However, has anyone ever tried smelly, rotting, mushy chicken?
I have—and the moment my boyfriend and I took a bite, we immediately spat it out and felt nauseous.
We went to the counter and asked the staff to taste the chicken themselves. They later returned to our table and told us that it was their new recipe for poached chicken breast.
Loyal customers like myself know that Kubis’ poached chicken breast has always been great. But Kubis, you just lost a loyal customer.
The moment you explained that this wasn’t your fault because it was a “new recipe”, and after you and your team had tasted the spoiled chicken, I asked if you could finish all of it. You said you could.
That was the moment.
I then asked if I could change my order to the chimichurri salmon—perhaps it was too much to ask because of the price difference. But instead of trying to win back our trust, even just a little, you refused.
To those considering coming here for a healthy meal, be prepared for unfresh ingredients and the possibility of food poisoning.
We didn’t take photos of the bowl, but we did capture the puked-out chicken on a tissue—you can clearly see its mushy texture and pink color.
It’s terrifying to think that if I had a child with me and trusted Kubis to serve fresh, healthy food, I could have unknowingly fed them something dangerous.
I genuinely fear for...
