This was my first time trying out this café, and I must say, the food was absolutely phenomenal! I ordered the smoked duck aglio olio and carbonara with chicken sausages, and both dishes were an easy 1000000/10.

The aglio olio had the perfect texture and flavor—just the right amount of seasoning, not too oily, and incredibly well-balanced. Many places either make it way too greasy or completely bland, but this one? Spot on!

As for the carbonara, it was simply chef’s kiss—creamy, rich, and just the right consistency. Every bite was pure perfection! I genuinely hope all the chefs here know how to maintain this level of quality because this is exactly how these dishes should be done.

Now, onto the service… and let’s just say, it was a huge disappointment. If I were to rate it, I’d give it a 2/10, and that’s being generous. It was painfully slow, and some of the staff seemed to lack basic common sense.

Here’s what happened: the café had two types of tables—high and low. Initially, I was given a lower table, which was uncomfortable to eat at, but I accepted it since all the higher tables were occupied. Eventually, a customer finished their meal, paid, and left, so I politely asked the staff if I could move to that now-empty table. The staff member agreed and even gave me a new QR code for the table (since each table had a different number and also I haven’t order anything).

Now, logically, when a customer leaves, the table should be cleaned—especially after someone has just eaten there. And you obviously would know if that’s a new customer just came in or old customer, right? The café wasn’t even that busy, so it should have been obvious.

But nope. The table was left dirty. I sat there waiting, expecting someone to come and clean it. One staff member kept walking back and forth from the kitchen, passing by my table multiple times, yet he didn’t seem to realize that I was a new customer. I mean, how else would a table suddenly have dirty plates on it when I hadn’t even ordered anything yet?!

And then there was the girl at the counter—the same one I had spoken to about switching tables. Instead of cleaning my table, she went to clean another one that had just been vacated. Meanwhile, I was still sitting there, waiting. Eventually, I had to call them over to clean it, and when the worker finally came, he just looked at me and said, “Yes?” as if he had no idea why I was asking.

I mean, what kind of service is this?!

So yeah, huge room for improvement when it comes to their service. I really hope they work on this because thankfully, the food was incredible—if not for that, this experience would have been completely ruined.

Final verdict? Food = chef’s kiss. Service = needs...

Right around the corner of Sunway University, so it’s pretty convenient for students. Came with a bunch of friends in between classes (from a neighbouring university) at 10am and the traffic + parking was agonising as usual 😭. First and foremost, the pictures on social media definitely fooled me. The place isn’t as big as it seems and crowd chatter can be heard from all corners and levels. Nonetheless, it would be a nice place for studying and doing work ONLY when there are lesser people around. The industrial modern cafe vibes were very comforting. We got a whole bunch of food : Fish and chips, Thai sweet & sour chicken, Korean chicken katsu, creamy tomyam w/ chicken pasta, and some coffee. Portion wasn’t as huge as other reviews said it was, seemed average to me. Taste wise also is borderline average. Coffee was not specialised coffee either. Slightly disappointed after hearing the hype about this place everywhere but I’ll let it slide. (Lots of reviews talking about the fish and chips but it’s personally mid) All in all, the place is nice for taking pictures and chilling. Not that conducive for studying/working as it is too noisy and packed. Food is average, maybe a 6/10. I’d think thrice about coming here again as there’s lots of other hidden gems around subang.

Discovered a loft-style brunch cafe decked with concrete grey monotones that's located within a workshop-industrial area in Bandar Sunway; this cafe is frequently visited by students and working adults around the area! 🌞 Ordered: Chicken Roulade 🐓 (RM26) Served with sautéed mushrooms, mashed beetroot, fried shallots, and fresh greens. The textures of the chicken and beetroot went well together but they were scattered in terms of taste. Nevertheless, it’s a stunning dish to admire, thanks to the beetroot! 🥰 Coconut Lychee Croffle 🥥 (RM18) Loved the fragrance from the coconut flakes and ice cream, which complimented the crispy croffle. The lychees provided a refreshing take on it too! 🙌 Kaya Cloud ☁️ (RM22) Decided to opt for their specialty coffee which did not disappoint! You can taste both of the americano with creamy kaya & pandan milk foam altogether 😋 The taste itself was not sweet as what I would expect, but I could still taste its overall aroma without overpowering one flavour to the another ☕️ Though it offers standard cafe food, the pricing and portions here are decent! It's considered a nice cafe to chill with friends and colleagues, or even do your work alone quietly 👩🏻‍💻
