As can be seen within the images provided below of 2 Ta Detta Ftiras both are very different in quality. With one having raw potatoes and the other being more than likely frozen and heated prior to our order.
That would be all well and good in its own right if once we brought attention to the staff anything was done about it. I personally ate about half of it before I started feeling the contents of my stomach curdle to the point of cottage cheese-like consistency which led to profuse vomiting as well as consistent needs of bodily rectal discharge
My partner on the other hand took about 2 slices before realizing it tasted off and having a similar reaction. Luckily the party we where with did not also take the ftira and found themselves fine.
We ended up asking the staff who couldn't care less if we were dying, vomiting or in general existing in the restaurant space to please bring us the chef and/or the manager. 15 minutes pass-30 minutes pass-an hour passes. They come to ask if we want desserts....are you kidding?
This is not to mention the general no damn given attitude from the waitresses when it came to our orders as well as when it came to giving us our orders. Our cocktails, drinks and everything in between took its sweet time to show up and even then the food was sub-par through and through.
Once we got to the manager after I had to raise my voice to a waitress (Sorry about that but you wouldn't even inform me that you were bringing anyone to the table after I asked 3 times). The Owner/manager as other reviews stated was quite rude. Claiming that we were lying, ate most of our food when we barely ate more than half each.
After some back and forth and my better half vomiting Infront of him! he told us that he would have the food tested. "No it will be removed, are you okay?, Pardon me for this colossal damn up of a meal that was served to you at an absorbent high price."
Last I checked food can be checked all it wants to be but I don't believe that you can check a soggy, diaper-like ftira pizza for covid cos that's the only test that I believe that food could have gotten within this very (Pardon the pun) questionable inducing situation. I hope the staff leaves your restaurant and hopefully find better careers cos it's clear that they have become complacent to your tyrannical ruling and couldn't give a care less.
AND FOR THOSE WONDERING. THEY CHARGED US FOR THEM...

Me and my partner have went to an event made by my partner's friend. For context I am allergic to fish and advised the store. I ordered a brushcetta and my partner ordered the snails. We loved the Appetizer, and the wine was great but when the main course came, the issues had started.
Me and my partnered ordered the Ta Detta ftira pizza. Generally when to order a ftira pizza, the ftira is not soggy or very soft, it becomes crunchy. The potato's were uncooked. My partners pizza looked overcooked on the outside but once biting into it, the pizza was not cooked properly. The potato's are suppose to be prepared before hand and not stated as the manager that the potato's are suppose to enter with the pizza itself. The pizza takes 5-10 minutes while a potato is suppose to be much longer.
Myself personally ate 2 pieces of the pizza in which I went to the bathroom into the restaurant itself for more than 2 times. My partner ate half of the pizza and started to go to the bathroom the same issue as I had. We had threw up and had diarrhea more than once in a matter of minutes to a point we spent more than 30 minutes in the bathroom The manager had said that i left 2 piece While infact I only ate 2 pieces!
He started to say that the food is fresh but when you see the ftira extreme soggy it says otherwise. Please note that we still paid in full price. Even though I onlyate 2 pieces and they just took the pizza from the table without the confirmation from the person who is...
Read moreIt was Sunday and brunch was supposed to start at 10 and ends at 11:30am - I guess we were used to come early, but we waited patiently and I also used to work an hour before opening schedules just so we could open the restaurant at the given hour, but apparently, it’s not the case in Malta.. The terrace was open and we saw the service sitting on one of the tables and thought we were able to sit and wait too. We’ve been told to wait as service was not done with cleaning the tables yet (mind you, it was 10:15am) already then we waited until 10:30am to get asked what we wanted. Service was visibly irritated of us coming in early….
The food was delicious and everything else went smoothly after, but it’s probably best to extend the brunch hours if the guests could only be served around 10:30am, no one wants to hurry on a Sunday(on a vacation) especially not...
