I’ve never written a review before, but today is the day 🥹

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Da Mattia Ristorante & Pizzeria, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the stage for a truly special evening.

We started our meal with mini Wagyu beef burgers, which were a perfect bite-sized delight, bursting with flavor. For the main course, we indulged in seafood pasta and beef ragù—both dishes were absolutely divine. The seafood pasta was fresh and flavorful, while the beef ragù was rich and comforting, cooked to perfection.

The wine and cocktails were equally exceptional, complementing our meal perfectly. But what truly set this evening apart was the outstanding service. Our waiter, originally from Albania, went above and beyond to make our night magical. His attention to detail, warm personality, and genuine passion for his work made us feel incredibly special. It’s rare to find such a combination of excellent food and impeccable service.

What an amazing experience!!! A couple of friends and I were just looking for a place that offered Pizzas & Pasta, we didn’t wanted a crowd place or a noisy one, just somewhere chill to eat and talk.

And even though these sounds simple and really common, nonetheless, it was a hassle to find one in Valletta haha, and TBH, all the walking was completely worth it 😍

It’s such a cozy place, chic and sophisticated.

The service was completely out of this world, it felt so cultural, warm and personalized, attended by Maltese people open to talk and explain every little detail of the food and preparation 🔥

We ordered the Pasta Carbonara, that for bacon lovers this is the one to go for, then we tried the N’Duja Carbonara Pasta with Burrata, that OMG if spicy is your way of living you definitely need to try it🤭 finalizing with an Prosciutto, Mushroom & Burrata pizza with a truffle buttery sauce to die for… obviously we ordered a bottle of Ulysses Shiraz, a Maltese wine to complement the flavors.

I would definitely recommend trying this place out, it was a wonderful experience… No doubt I will go back...
