We visited this restaurant every day of our 5-day stay at La Estancia - sometimes twice per day! The service was incredible. Truly unmatched at any restaurant I've ever been to. The attention to detail, care for the customer, and overall kindness and generosity from every staff member was superb. The food was delicious and world-class, though even if it wasn't, I'd keep coming here for the experience. My family constantly raved about how we wished we could stay forever, and gushed over the service. Since we came to the restaurant so many times, we were able to interact with multiple employees, and every single one was fantastic - the hostess Karan, the waiters Fredy, Pascual, Luz, Jose Luis (+ so many others), and the manager Paola were the ones who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. They even remembered our scheduled check-out date, and brought us delicious treats as "thank you" and "good-bye" gifts. It truly doesn't get any better, and we can't...
Read moreMy wife and I have eaten here many times over the last 10 years. The service is beyond professional, the word that comes to mind is impeccable. This ranks as some of the finest service I've ever experienced. Selene, will first greet you with a smile and escort you to your table. She's a warm and friendly face, quick with building rapport. Freddy,Adrian,Rubin and Irma are some of the finest French style serving professional wait staff will pick up from there to explain the fine menu. They are known for their steaks but their seafood offerings are delicious. I would say that the chef also has quite the flare for preparation and the quality of the food is excellent. I might add one criticism is that the wine list on the Chardonnay side could be updated to represent more Mexican and perhaps a bit more elevated California wines. Thank you for a couple of wonderful evenings La Casona, Mike and Cindy Rogan ps.meal cost...
Read moreThe service was excellent…and that is where the positives end. I am confused reviews of the food because that was not our experience. The scallops were small and rubbery. When we told the server that we felt they were over cooked he informed us that they were a different kind of scallop that are supposed to be tough. The crab cakes came out burned and not flavorful. The steak was fine, not worth 80 dollars. The Mac and cheese was made with velvetta and the mashed potatoes tasted like box potatoes. The sea bass was also rubbery and you could tell was not fresh. Extremely disappointing for the price tag, save your money. We were still charged for the scallops even though we sent them back. And the prices on the menu don’t match when you get the receipt. This was the worst eating experience I have had in...
