I came here because their prices were low compared to my hotel price for a massage. I booked a 90 min massage at 4:30 pm and was told to head over at 4pm to make payment and keep my spot. I got there hours earlier and chilled at the beach. I went back around after 3pm to see if I can get a place to wait at their restaurant beach table and blah blah blah. I was told to pay since I was already there and head back at 4:25. I left the beach right in front of their restaurant at 4:25 to walk up their stairs. I recall finishing and being led upstairs at 4:28 pm. I booked a 90 mins massage and the lady finished at 5:48 pm. I asked why and told her I had a 90 mins and the front desk came to discuss that the time starts the mins the give me the chip/card. I said fine, but that was at 4:28, even if I came back down for water and you start the time at the very beginning, it was still at 4:28. She said she'll show me a video and I waited for her to not show it to me. Thw guy showed me the time I checked in on his computer, stating 4:23pm. Not sure how because it can't be because I was still at the beach front at that time. Even if it did start at 4:23 pm, which it didn't, she still finished early. That's just a ridiculous on and on argument that'll go nowhere and I wasn't in the mood to keep taking their nonsense attitude because they've been at it since I arrived.
I am on vacation and not gonna give these idiots the chance to ruin my mood or my time. Before and during all of this, the service was so bad. The front desk had an attitude since the min I stepped in. The girl, idk what was going on with her today, but she had an attitude for no reason. That is not proper customer service. The guy was no better either. The massage...I frequently go for massage and have had good massages and really good massages and one or 2 bad massages. This, this topped the very very bad and lame massages I've ever freaken had. It was as if she was passing time. I don't think she knew what she was doing tbh and I happened to see another masseuse giving massage and she was doing the same thing, just rubbing on the client....wtf?! For a deep tissue too! I was expecting more or at least something good, but I guess that was my fault.
Either way, my first and only experience because God knows I will never come back here again. I would rather pay the $200 my hotel is charging and I mean that.
Also, the massage area is an open space where you see other client vulnerable self on the table in addition to the restaurant music blasting...yeah definitely not what I was expecting

Relaxation Perfection by the Sea – A Must-Do in Cabo
My wife and I visited The Sand Bar in the morning to beat the afternoon heat and crowd—and we’re so glad we did.
The Experience:
Imagine this: The gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore. Birds singing nearby. The fresh scent of ocean air. A soft morning breeze brushing your skin. Now pair all that with a professional, high-quality massage—and you've got one of Cabo’s best hidden gems for relaxation.
Getting There:
The Sand Bar is conveniently located right on the cul-de-sac by and on Medano Beach. You can Uber straight to the entrance or walk up from the beach itself. (A nice Bar downstairs for those interested or waiting for their friend/partner)
Arrival Process:
It’s an open-air setup, from the front desk to the massage area.
Massage tables are located on the second floor to provide more privacy.
You’ll check in, meet your masseuse, and receive a basket for your clothes and personal items.
There’s a small changing/restroom area—note: if you want privacy, use the family changing room.
Then you’re escorted upstairs to the open-air massage area, with lined-up tables and a direct view of the ocean. Be quiet as others are getting their massages.
The Massage:
-Extremely professional. You can choose to keep your underwear on or off—whatever you're comfortable with. They always keep you covered with a linen sheet, only exposing the area being worked on so I'd recommend going towel only.
-The masseuse asked about pressure at the beginning and made adjustments accordingly.
-The massage never felt rushed.
-Excellent Swedish technique—smooth, relaxing, and effective.
-We opted for the 90-minute massage and will absolutely do it again.
Final Thoughts:
This was one of the most relaxing, enjoyable experiences we've had in Cabo—and for the price, it’s an absolute must for every visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. Highly...

I think they are used of getting some hungover people and are ok doing bare minimum as far as massages go. When we arrived we walked passed the group of people who were getting massages on the second level. Most people were barely covered and not draped appropriately. We were on the top level and I thought that was great. Wrong. I got the most forward bed and I thought that was good due to being close to the ocean but that was a mistake. As the sun rose, I ended up in the sun for most of my massage. I overheated and I was sweating so much, she ended up having to go get a cold towels to put on me. The massage sucked and similar to a few other reviews, she was lightly stroking me the entire time. She would also stop every few seconds. I have no idea why. Literally kept thinking why the heck does she keep stopping. It was so strange and I kept hoping it would get better but it didn’t. Then we moved from face down to face up and i finally spoke up and asked if she could put more pressure which she didn’t understand so I said more and she was like oh ok. Then she jams the hell out of my leg with the most intense pressure I’ve ever felt in my life. I realized she could totally massage harder but had choose not to the whole time and then when I spoke up she tried to hurt me. It was very odd. She only did that to one leg. The other leg she went back to the weird soft strokes with multiple pauses. Also because it’s a group setting you can hear the people around you. One guy showed up and was snoring so loudly the entire time. Another lady showed up and was screaming to repeat the instructions. Face up? She yelled OK FACE UPPPP. Not relaxing at. I bought the hype I saw from a TikTok and wish we picked the place at our resort instead. Uber from resort was about $5 USD. We drove through some dirt roads and some parts of town...
