Las Palomas — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

This was a disappointment for an all inclusive restaurant. The chips and guacamole were good, but the Esquite was underwhelming (tasted like canned corn) and the watermelon salad was neither crisp nor refreshing (a little soggy after sitting in sauce). The flank steak entree was okay, but the tortillas and chorizo were the star of that dish; the steak was only mediocre. The churros were cold when served, and the coconut flan was lacking flavor and topped with raw coconut which was not a pleasant texture. Overall the service was poor as well- the waitress forgot our drinks until reminded and left us waiting for the bill for almost 30 min at the end of the meal. We stayed at Pueble Bonito Resort over Spring Break. We ate at the Palomas restaurant every morning and I will say the food was good and the service even better. Our server was Alfredo Mayo and we made sure that everyday we sat where he could serve us. He was very kind and attentive. I hope the hotel/restaurant give him some bonus points for his excellent service. As I did not get that quality of service anywhere else...

Las Palomas is an excellent place for breakfast. The food is really good and there is a great variety. Avocado toasts and pineapple juice were the best :) The service is excellent, our waiters David and Leonardo were exceptionally attentive and kind, willing to go above and beyond. The view is also amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming. Great place, would come back...
