This place has a great view and decent food but it is overpriced and the staff are the worst I’ve experienced in Cabo. We’ve now gone twice, once for dinner and another for breakfast and both times our servers were robotic and rude , never cracking a smile , always acting as if they wanted to run a way from the table as fast as possible. Our dinner tasted good so we decided to give it another try for breakfast where our server scammed us . He persuaded us to get a bottle of proesseco with orange juice on the side , saying it was cheaper than ordering two glasses. Well it wasn’t it was actually four times the price . Our bill came and the food for four people was $100 but the processeco, Santa margarita which retails for 20$ cad was $100 , and it only had filled 2.5 glasses when he had said it would fill four. When I asked him why he told me it was cheaper when it wasn’t he replied well if you wanted 2 large drinks each it was cheaper which mathematically didn’t make sense since it only filled 2.5. In addition he, his name was Enrique , was super rude , never checked on our table , and like our previous server was in a mad rush to leave the table each time. Also he tried to get me to add Lobster or chicken to my meal that already included chicken. My overall impression is that the servers are trying to upswell around every opportunity to jack up the bill and they likely Pool tip because no one seems to care about actually providing decent service, asking how your meal is or checking if you need a top up. I’m super disappointed as if heard great things about this place . Only Positive thing I can say is that the food is actually good, breakfast smoothies are great and as previously stated great view, Location and decoration but there are plenty of Other places that will treat you have decent that also have nice views like Sur beach house a...
Read moreMy wife, I, and our three children visited the office for lunch. We inquired with the host about making a reservation for a table, and he informed us that they do not accept reservations. We responded by saying, 'OK, we will go swim in the ocean and return.' Approximately an hour and a half later, we returned, and I was greeted by the head waiter wearing a pink sash, who identified himself as the general manager wearing a pink skirt. He asked me, 'Do you have a reservation?' I replied no and explained that the host had informed us that they do not take reservations. He countered, 'No, you must have a reservation.' I clarified that this contradicted the information provided by the host at the entrance. He responded, 'If you do not like it, you can go elsewhere.' My wife and our three children witnessed this exchange and became extremely uncomfortable and frightened. Another gentleman intervened and offered to seat us, although not in the front section, citing that numerous tables were reserved. A gentleman wearing a pink sash claimed that those tables were already occupied. It appears that the establishment prioritizes patrons who are willing to spend between $200 to $300 on food, rather than those who may only order a drink. I will not return to this establishment again. If Edith, the owner, were aware of the treatment we received, she would likely be displeased. As a long-time customer who has referred hundreds of patrons to their business, I will no longer continue to do so. Negative reviews and word of mouth can significantly impact their business. I will also be contacting Edith personally about this. I also want to talk about our waiter Samuel, which was absolutely amazing. He took care of us graciously and was...
Read moreI don’t understand the hype surrounding this place! Is this place vibrant and cozy for a beach restaurant? absolutely. Cute decorations, nice table settings and beautiful plates. I could see it being a fun spot to simply grab drinks and enjoy as a group but for that purpose mango deck prevails as a better option. The food and service at the Office was beyond disappointing. I typically leave reviews for places I enjoyed, but I really wanted people to hear another type of experience considering I only see rave reviews. First, we had trouble the entire time trying to track down our server and had to request the same things multiple times in order to receive it. The guacamole was the ONLY thing we enjoyed out of our large order. Over 2,300 pesos (lunch, 2 people) and we were still very hungry afterwards. The crabs had almost no edible meat (not to mention very little butter so we had to request more and of course was charged for this!) and the calamari was so dry we genuinely thought it was left over from the previous day. 1/2 avocado tuna salad was overall fresh and a great appetizer portion. The Miami vice was decent. however, the Bloody Mary had little flavour (nothing on the rim nor any spice inside despite asking for extra spicy). Once we finished our meal it took almost 32 minutes to get our bill (constantly trying to flag our waiter down, they huddle in a group to chat by the beach). Everything on the menu is a very inflated price for the quality and service you receive. I hope this was a one-off experience but this was overrated bar food for us. so many other places to...
