Taboo Beach Club — Restaurant in El Medano Ejidal

Came here for a birthday last week expecting an awesome experience. I will likely never be back. Love staying at the hotel and pool bar but tried taboo for the first time. The food was very mediocre and the servers seemed agitated at first when we asked for non bottled water . I have been to Rosa negra and LOVED it, but the water for a party of 4 of us ended up being $90 usd. So; since it was boiling hot i figured I didn’t want any of us needing to pay $100 on water when all 15 of us were already ordering apps, drinks and entrees etc . Anyway … that was fine, our male servers were attentive and respectful . My number one complaint was the female staff coming in the bathroom every single time any of the women in our party would goto the bathroom ,’for the 2 hours we spent eating there ; each time an entertainer would enter the bathroom (10-15 seconds after we entered the restroom)!and either touch up her makeup or sit on the couch until we left the bathroom!! What on earth? I have never experienced this before . I can understand if they were friendly to us or asking if we needed anything (paper towel, spritz of perfume ?) but It was clear they were monitoring us and they never spoke to us. Quite interesting, because we were such a calm group, simply celebrating a birthday and we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable as it was so clear they were watching us, who told them to do this? Their boss? What problems have they experienced in the past to make them feel the need to do this? We had children with us, it was a family event. Saxophone player was amazing I will mention! It was dead in there, only a couple other tables . Also, regarding our “bathroom babysitters” , us women had, the men in our party said they had a lovely gentleman in that their bathroom assisting them with paper towels etc . Our “baby sitters” weren’t helping us , they were playing on their iPhones and glaring at us/applying makeup to their faces haha. What a hilarious memory to look back on, I can’t imagine what they would do if there was an actual problem and not a wholesome family celebration. Won’t be back unless...

Our recent dining experience at Taboo Cabo was nothing short of a disaster, largely due to the horrendous service we received from our waiter. From the moment we arrived until the very end of our meal, the service was riddled with incompetence, deception, and a terrible attitude.

To begin with, our waiter, Pedro, seemed more interested in pushing his own agenda rather than attending to our needs as customers. He insisted that we order a particular dish that we explicitly declined, and when we refused for the second time, he brushed off our preferences and decided to bring the dish to our table anyway. It was as if he was adamant on imposing his choices upon us, regardless of our clear objections.

The situation took a turn for the worse when we informed the waiter that we did not order the dish he brought. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, he audaciously insisted that we had indeed ordered it, even though it was not true. His refusal to acknowledge his error and his insistence on gaslighting us left us feeling frustrated and disrespected.

Adding insult to injury, when it was time to settle the bill, we were appalled to find the unwanted dish listed on it. It was shocking to see the restaurant trying to charge us for something we explicitly stated we did not want and did not consume. It became clear that the waiter's deceptive behavior extended beyond the ordering process, and it left a bitter taste in our mouths.

Taboo Beach Club Is hands down one of the best beach party spots in Cabo! It’s not your typical Spring Break, young college kid venue. It’s more like a Vegas style beach club party scene with a more classy and bougie atmosphere. Fantastic EDM music was pumping through the venue, setting the perfect party atmosphere.

A Feast for the Senses:

The club not only serves up great beats but also offers a feast for the taste buds! The food was absolutely delicious, and the menu had something for everyone. The sexy staff added to the overall ambiance, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Drinks to Savor:

The drinks at Taboo Beach Club were simply fantastic! From refreshing cocktails to high-quality spirits, they had it all. However, we must admit that the prices were a bit on the higher side, but hey, when you're partying in paradise, it's worth it!

Weekend Party Vibe:

If you're looking for a cool party vibe without obnoxious college kids, make sure to visit on the weekend. The energy and excitement were contagious! If you like pool party venues in Vegas, this is the closest thing you will get in Cabo.
