Delicious is an understatement! Food was authentic well made with beautiful presentation. We were served soup and tacos for appetizer and every dish was explained to us. Our server was great and attentive. We never had a dirty dish left on our table. I ate my enchiladas rojas so fast I don't think I took a breath. And my husband had the Bizeteca. The rustic feel with wood tables and benches and mason jars to hold our sodas topped off the wonderful experience.

Quesadillas of Huitlacoche (type of mushroom), flor de calabaza (flower of pumpkin), flor de Jamaica ( hibiscus) all of them are deliciously amazing. Let’s remember that; this food is originally from central- south Mexico, therefore it is hard to find and cook this Ingredients as if they were fresh, so enjoy as they are. They also have cecina ( thin beef meat skirt) from down south which is very tender and full of flavor.

We went there for breakfast and we had a torta de chilaquiles that was amazing! We also had an mushrooms omelette with chilaquiles verdes and it was also delicious. It you have a big appetite, you could have the desayuno "El de Campeones" and that one's is really good as well. It comes with 2 pancakes, ham, bacon, 2 eggs and chilaquiles. Everyone there is super nice and the service A+. I super recommend this place.

I found this place via yelp and have been trying many places with high ratings, and this place has been my favorite so far. Although the seating is a bit cramped the service here is amazing. That is the first thing I want to touch base on. They were very attentive to our table of four and brought us our drinks (and refills) as soon as we asked, and were very patient while we sat and wondered what to order. The service here trumps most other restaurants I've been to here and back in the states. Very satisfied.

We ordered a couple of appetizers, the fondue, three quesadilla plate, and were given an additional variety of tacos al vapor (bean and cheese, carnitas, and chicharon YUM!) on the house. They were all very delicious. The tacos on the house stood out from the appetizers not that the rest weren't delicious because they definitely were, but those tacos al vapor hit the spot.

The beans here are so delicious I could eat them all day with tortillas and be happy, but what was better than their beans were the carnitas plate. They were perfectly cooked with a flavor worth bragging about. I know what I am getting the next time I come back. We also got enchilidas, steak plate and a sampler plate. All pretty delicious. If they have it available do yourself a favor and get the Pineapple Orange Agua fresca. I had 4 refills so that should tell you how...

The high rating gave me high expectations for the food but the food I received was mid at best. The pozole lacked flavor and had a gelatin consistency. The tacos de canasta had zero flavor and were poorly cooked. I won’t be returning and I can’t recommend. Atmosphere was good and the employees were very kind but I wouldn’t come to get delicious food. Also kind of expensive considering it’s TJ and the quality of food...
