CAPITAL NightClub — Restaurant in Ildefonso Green

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! You can read the rest of the review, but long story short, this bar has watered down drinks, scheming servers, and will over charge you considerably. I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. Went back the next day to take photos of the place so you can recognize it when you see it.

Full story: A worker brought me over to their bar, claiming to offer buy 1 get 1 free. I got the 12 shot special for 350 pesos, so they gave me the 2nd 12 for "free". The server also just brought me out a bottle of water when I didn't ask for it, but is was just 70 pesos, so I wasn't concerned. I drank all of the shots except for 1 I took with someone. With that many shots I should have at least gotten drunk, but barely had a buzz by the end of it. The bill came out and it was a total charge of 420 pesos. I paid with a card, and somehow the 420 pesos ($22) was turned to 573 pesos($30), which isnt too much more, but its extra money that they just wanted to take from me. The guy then had the nerve to run after me after leaving to offer to sell me substances, which I declined, and told him about the over charge, to which he replied saying it was a 5% charge for using a card; in no way does 5% of 420 pesos equate to 573 pesos, not even in American dollars. I gave a cash tip that was about 50% of what the drinks came out to (not knowing yet that they over charged me yet).

Please avoid this place. I know I won't get my money back, which is totally fine, but I just hope this review helps this business to fail miserably due to their scheeming actions. I may not get my money back, but hopefully they loose more money from the bad reviews to compensate all of those they screwed over, some worse than me. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! Happy...

AVOID at ALL cost!!! We arrived, ordered a bucket of beer, 2 cocktails and a hookah. All were delivered the drinks and a hookah menu with nothing but flavors on it. After delivering the hookah (with only 2 tips for 7 of us) we were surprised as we were told it was $65 and cash only. It didn’t even last 10 min and was not worth $65. Anyway, we ran out of drinks and tried to order from the lady who constantly at our table and she told us she didn’t speak English and wouldn’t take our order. We went to the bar to order and was told by the manager we couldn’t order at the bar. Nobody ever took our order. We finally asked for our check and were presented with a check for $178. We gave the credit card and when they came back it was charged $288!!! When we questioned it, the manager said it was tip (they didn’t allow us to choose the tip amount) and taxes. When we tried to argue, he threatened to call the police. As we were leaving, he started chasing us down the street saying we didn’t pay for the hookah!!! So $288 for a bucket of beer and a few cocktails??? They are thief’s and there are too many other amazing places in that area to...

My girlfriend and I were strolling downtown Cabo when a friendly guy invited us to check out Capital Nightclub, and I’m so glad we went. The nightclub is on a rooftop, offering a fantastic view and an incredible vibe. The music was great, and the energy in the place was electric. What really surprised us was the reasonable prices, especially compared to other clubs in the area. I was expecting to pay a lot more, but the drinks were affordable, and they even had drink specials, which was a nice bonus.

We were lucky enough to snag a seat right by the DJ, which made the experience even more fun. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming, and it felt like the perfect mix of a party vibe and a chill night out. The service was also top-notch—attentive, friendly, and quick, which made the night even better.

Overall, Capital Nightclub exceeded our expectations. The combination of good music, great vibes, reasonable prices, and excellent service made for a memorable experience. If you’re looking for a fun night out in Cabo, I would definitely recommend checking it out, and I know I’ll be returning next time...
