This place is located at the edge of the beach. It has plastic tables with big tents on top of them, three by three mts tents, and it's only divided from the public side of beach sand buy some ropes and wood slabs. The service was all right for the place, they were professional. Getting the food took quite a while it was perhaps because they didn't have enough people in the kitchen because we were the only ones there. We ordered ceviche, fried with bread crumbs fish, a burger for the kids, and fried with bread crumbs shrimp with a chipotle sauce: veredict; I have eaten ceviche and other dishes all over and for the price that you pay for the quality I would have expected just a little bit more in terms of flavor freshness and quality; they serve you sauce with some tostadas, The sauce was not spicy at all and it actually tasted kind of sweet even a little bit soapy sweet which was definitely something I did not enjoy at all. Overalls you're looking for a place that's under the student budget this would be the...
Read moreStandard simple Mexican street food. Tasted fine but I probably won't be returning this trip. I'm going to upgrade my rating to 4 stars but be aware this is not even close to a deluxe restaurant. They were able to fulfill my request for onion and garlic free food and recommend something for me. The meat (pork), cheese and corn tortillas were free from additional seasonings. Pricing seems a little higher than what I've seen elsewhere at $100 pesos for the large plate. I was super hungry after a long flight and snow delays... this filled me up for a good 12 hours. Decent communication skills and I got what I wanted. Seating is beyond basic. Bring a cushion if you have any back problems or want to sit awhile. It's outdoors off the main street so not as noisy as others in the area. The roadway is dark with bumpy stones and crumbling concrete as per much of the...
Read moreI would give this place a zero star but I cant. DO NOT GO HERE. They tried to over price our bill by writing everything none itemized ticket. Said one thing and wrote another on the bill.. gave us 3 different prices with a suggested tip. We were going to tip them good anyways but after arguing with them how the US dollar is worth more then the peso. It seemed like we could have negotiated our bill and at the same time they were making up there prices as well. Make sure you ask or write down what you have and the price. They did not mention anything in the beginning about not accepting US money but when they were arguing with us about how they are lying to us they then said go to the bank and exchange the money for pesos. Food was good, the pestering of solicitors was not cool so I suggest to stay away and go to...
