somehow I did not expect such good food and service in a restaurant in a shopping center. but this place is excellent! we went there once kind by accident and now we keep coming back. my husband is Mexican and he really cares about his chilaquiles: this is the only place where he is fully satisfied. they are flavorful, there is a lot of them, and they are not drowning in sauce so they are not soggy. we tried other basic things such as the chicken soup, the frijoles de la olla, the quesadillas, the enchiladas and they are consistently excellent. we also found the service really really good and fast. much better than many other places that labels themselves as authentic. The salsa was pretty good, as well as the guacamole. My wife got Caldo and she thought it was pretty bland also.
Maybe we were spoiled with all the excellent food we had in CDMX, but this was definitely my least favorite of the trip and I’m still disappointed that it was my last meal in the city even though I’ve been home for a few days. It was also the most...
