OUZERIA — Restaurant in Mexico City

Most delicious Greek place in Mexico city, this place is perfect for people that actually want to eat real delicious food in a cozy environment, everything was perfect to be honest!! So far my fav place in Mexico City and we have visited already most of the quite famous and fancy places in Mexico City and they all lack of taste, they deceive you with the reviews since I doubt it is linked to the taste and quality of food. Sorry, I didn’t manage to take a good picture because it was too delicious 😂 so at least I add one of my fav salmon ever ! Good Greek restaurant....ordered calamari for starter, unfortunately it arrived the same time as my main lamb chops so I was forced to cancel starter. Lamb chops were very tender and cooked to perfection however so called lemon potato wedges were raw and didn't taste of lemon either. Dish did have what I think was sweat potato puree which made up for potato wedges. White wine was poured at table and wasn't a proper measurement but my second glass was a lot bigger which made up for first. Dessert was baklava which was nice but doesn't need to be so big. I was excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. I ordered the lamb chops, which were decent, but the sides were disappointing. The broccoli had a strange, almost “fridge-like” taste, as if it had been frozen too long, and the potatoes seemed a bit old. My husband ordered the salmon with honey, but the “honey” was actually maple syrup, which made the dish taste more like pancakes—definitely not what we expected.
