Be careful with the so called 1 hour tour because is a scam, is not a tour it is a sales tour where they try to sell you a timeshare deal, so if you sign to go to that tour and don't show up they will charge you for it, like 2,000 dollars, and if you go they will keep you at a resort for 5 hours trying to sell you the package which is $535,000 pesos or 27,000 dollars, so be very careful don't accept the tour because they are great sellers and you are going to get scammed and is all the vidanta hotel group so other hotels are included this happened today 15,feb,2017 and the workers told me how they operate but they are not involved with the advisers or sellers, Im very mad about it but there is nothing I can do but warn other people. Be careful and you can google vidanta timeshare scams in...

Some of ya’ll never been to a beach before!

Sand- big, rough, brown grains. Never soft/powdery. Also, steep bank at water edge.

Chairs- packed together and right up to the steep edge. If you want to “walk on the beach”, you need to walk on the steep incline or weave between umbrellas and vendors.

Feeling of Nature- forget it. Might as well be at the mall.

Natural Beauty- views out to the water if you are in the first row of chairs, otherwise just looking at people next you and can hear every word of their loud, drunk conversations.

Water- kinda clear but brown. Calm near the pier but rough waves to the south.

Vendors- lots, but leave you alone once you say no.

Other options??? YES! Get in a $5 Uber and head to...

Only beach in old town Vallarta.. lots of choices in renting a chair and umbrella but prices vary from 350mxn.per day to 1000mxn per day...there is not a lot of totally public beach here but anything can be bought from the beachcombers...south end of the beach is the gay beach but nudity is not permitted...blue chairs area and green chairs are free for the day as long as you eat and drink from the hotels who own the beachfront area....

Important note though the surf is high here and the water gets deep very quickly...and there are some serious riptides at the beach...you often need to fight the surf to get into sellable waters...the ocean here is definitely not for...

A great place to enjoy the seaside Puerto Vallarta regardless of whether you are setting yourself up on the beach or visiting one of the beach clubs, bars or restaurants. The beach is clean and the water is great to swim in. Mostly tourists here and you will find a lot of locals in the beach selling everything from clothing to fresh oysters. Suggest visiting one of the beach clubs, which generally let you use deck chairs and umbrellas as long as you are ordering food and drink, however make sure you double check prices and conditions before you settle in as some have been known to give extra charges.

Loving beach dinner place overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We enjoyed a great dinner on the beach watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico tonight. We had front row seats to a wedding proposal while listening to a really good saxophone player and watching a talented gal twirl multiple fire sticks. Moon reflecting off the water while listening to the waves slap the beach from our hotel room balcony is very calming.

The Romantic zone is a beautiful paradise, friendly to all genders, generations and backgrounds. It is located a few minutes from el malecon in Puero Vallarta, Mexico. It is very safe and friendly to everyone. Lots of things to do with perfect weather 360 days a year, the other 5 days is just little less than perfect. No to mention the delicious Mexican food restaurants in the are. If you are there el Campanario for dinner is great.
