Great local Newari restaurant with yummy foods and very friendly owner and staff. They have traditional Newari items such as fokso, sapu mhicha and kachila (see photo). Chatamari and kachila are my favorites there. Aila is very, very, very strong.

Great place to try variety of authentic Newari food that can't be found in usual restaurants. The aloo tama (bamboo shoot and potato soup) is a must try, it is spicy though. The restaurant is near Thamel so it's convenient for tourists.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The momo at this Newari restaurant is incredibly delicious and juicy. Each bite is bursting with authentic flavors. The Newari set is also great! The ambiance is cozy, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended!
