T's your palate — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

We came as a small group and ordered a variety of burgers between us: The Jawbreaker, Yess mite!, Drop it like it’s hot and Vejjo. Every single one of them was both incredibly tasty as well filling, nachos and fresh salsa on the side we’re good however I wish the salsa was a bit more sauce based so that it stays on the nachos better but that’s just my preference, the salsa itself as well as all the other veg in the burgers were fresh and good quality as were the buns. Jawbreaker was incredible, the cook on the Buff meat was brilliant, the mushrooms and cheese were a perfect addition.

On the side we had the The Crunch with cheese sauce as well as KTM Wings which we had with no spice to accommodate for children to be able to eat them as well, the Honey Mustard Sauce on the side went very well with both chips and wings. Not only were these sides piping hot and well cooked but they were perfectly seasoned, they have plastic gloves for wings/eating in general which is very useful for keeping your hands nice and clean while eating.

Service from the two girls who took our orders, brought the food, took plates and glasses away after we had finished with them was very attentive, efficient, welcoming and helpful regarding spice levels, varieties of sauces available as well as recommendations for first time visitors.

When we went, we sat upstairs which was newly opened the day before. The room was spacious as it had tables to accommodate many groups with enough walk space for customers and servers.

Location is in a relatively quiet street in Thamel so not too much traffic but it’s still Thamel so upstairs can be very quiet in comparison to downstairs. Bathroom under the stairs, clean and working.

I wish I found this spot sooner while on my short trip back home after years, I would have kept going back the whole time. Overall the rating says 5 but for me I’ll be following them heavily through their social media and anytime I’m back home this is one place I’m making my go to. That’s how good it was.

This restaurant was near our hotel, we saw good reviews and wanted to try their burgers as these looked really delicious! They have nachos, wings, chips, varieties of burgers and shakes.

The food at T's Your Palate is delicious. The menu features a wide variety of dishes to choose from, so there is something for everyone. The food is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and is cooked to perfection. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The setup is cosy, they offer roadside seating setup and also a 1st-floor indoor setup.

The wings were made with Sriracha-based homemade hot sauce, it was a little spicy, very crunchy and super! I will highly vouch for this one! The burgers were similar with the only difference in the mushrooms. Buff patty served with caramelized onion, cheese, and BBQ sauce. I want to take a moment and share how beautifully the burgers were made! It was fantastic, it was one of the best burgers we had in the last few months! We could tell from the taste that it was fresh and perfectly made with all the seasonings and ingredients! Very fulfilling and worth every penny! We had strawberry and chocolate shakes - which were creamy, smooth and perfectly blended. If you visit Thamel in Nepal, then make sure to check out this place! I can vouch for this place! I, with my partner, visited this restaurant today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The burgers were not up to par (maybe not according to our taste, so it's okay) and the staffs were impolite and inattentive to our needs. To make matters worse, the bathroom had no towels or soap and there was a strong new paint smell that made it difficult to enjoy our meal. The "Cookies & Cream Smoothie" neither had cookies nor cream on it, but tasted like bland lassi. The waiter/cashier lady was also quite rude, telling us to move to another table without any polite request, simply because there was a group of 8 foreigners coming in. The only redeeming quality of this establishment was the owner, who was friendly and helpful. However, that alone is not enough to make up for the numerous issues we encountered. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and would advise others to find a different dining option. @Owner: Please train your staff on welcoming customers in your restaurant. The ambience is very nice, and the food according to my colleague (who has only taken takeaways multiple times) is also supposedly good, just our choice of food might've been wrong today.
