Club Sixteen — Restaurant in Pokhara

One of the worst clubs I ever visited. I highly insist foreigners DO NOT visit at any cost. Here are the reasons: a) for the sake (they are highly greedy) of earning money, they let hundreds and hundreds in. No count of maximum numbers. This becomes so suffocating to even breathe inside. b) because of the heavy (extremely over populated) crowd, none were able to dance at all. People were pushing each other. It was so annoying to celebrate the new year like that where people push you like a crowd gathering. c) Highly unsafe- because they let everyone in, there were some local cheap drunkards who were physically mishandling boys and girls intentionally and even after complaining to the bouncers, they didn’t take any action. d) Highly disrespectful- people who are high class professionals and foreigners- pls DO NOT GO. They don’t give respect. At the counter, the ladies were kept to only collect money but no one was hardly giving respect and listening to people (a lot had this issue). This shows they are highly unprofessional but they are dressed up nicely to showcase they are good. f) Highly unhygienic washrooms - in all the pubs I have been, there’s always an attendor who cleans washrooms where there is over crowd. But these guys (as said, are not professionals) in sake of saving money, did not have any cleaner. Overall, I regret my choice going to Club 16. My new year eve was awful bcz of club 16’s greediness of making more money and not considering (for once) the comfort of the customers. So not recommended for any INTERNATIONAL folks. Dear Club Sixteen,

You get a one star review. The club felt like a prison, security guards everywhere, watching your every move, patting you down and taking your belongings in an unsystematic way (each security guard just decides for himself, there are no clear protocols), there was no real party atmosphere. The staff showed little to no capabilities of applying practical wisdom, flexibility, or the basic custom of simply smiling. The only smile I received was actually from the female DJ that was playing at the time, and that to was because I was begging her to up her game like I know she can and is probably being confined. Speaking of music, it was absolutely horrible, the worst thing about your club by far! I can deal with your rules and regulations, and how you run things, and even the weird atmosphere it creates in the club. What I just can't understand and will never accept is your unremarkable, unexceptional, and just boring EDM mashes. Every night!! Why?? No willingness what so ever to try something different. No trance, no tecno, no house, deep house, not even drum and base. Insanity in my opinion, it's like you are stuck in the last decade unfortunately.

All that being said, the potential is absolutely there, I just hope one of the owners picks it up and turn this club around cause it can be truly great.
