I recently visited here and I must say, the experience was far beyond just having a cup of coffee — it was a delightful blend of ambiance, flavors, and hospitality. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The interior design strikes a perfect balance between cozy and modern, with soft lighting, tasteful décor, and a seating arrangement that feels both intimate and spacious. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to work, a table to catch up with friends, or just a spot to relax with a book, the layout accommodates it all.
☕ Drinks & Food Quality The coffee here is truly exceptional. I tried their signature brew and it was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced — no bitterness, just smooth, flavorful warmth in every sip. They clearly put effort into sourcing quality beans and crafting each cup with precision. Alongside coffee, they offer a variety of teas, smoothies, and cold brews, all presented beautifully.
✨ Ambiance & Comfort The café’s playlist created the perfect atmosphere — mellow enough to focus, yet uplifting enough to keep the mood light. Large windows let in natural light during the day, making the space feel airy and welcoming. There’s also free Wi-Fi and accessible charging outlets, making it a great spot for remote work or study.
🤝 Service Service was impeccable — the staff were attentive without being intrusive, happy to make recommendations, and quick to accommodate any special requests. Their passion for coffee and hospitality really shows, and it makes you feel valued as a customer.
💰 Value for Money Given the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience, the pricing felt fair and reasonable. You’re not just paying for coffee; you’re paying for a well-curated atmosphere and...
Read moreHad the worst experience. Were at the restaurant for our anniversary. Ordered two drinks and were waiting for the starter. When the starter (chicken sekuwa) arrived, they hadnt placed the forks, so I signalled at a waiter to get 2 forks. When the waiter came and gave us the forks, my wife asked for a quarter plate. The waiter upset for some reason, questioned in an irritated tone "You want plates too?" We were surprised at the question and the tone. He went and came back with two plates. Gave my wife one. I told him, one is sufficient, and that I didnt want one. He then started pushing the plate against my hand and said "Take it! Take it!". I lost my patience, and asked him to just get his manager.
He along with another waiter started to argue what my problem was and why I was upset. They refused to get any manager, and I just asked to get the bill and that we didn't want to eat there. The waiter got the bill for the food we had not eaten, and the drinks we had just taken a sip each. The waiter even dared to push my hand during the discussion. After sometime a restaurant official came by and heard our story. He seemed a little upset with the waiter and started discussing with him in Nepalese. He too just asked us to pay the bill. I was again shocked at this move. I didn't want to spoil the evening further, and paid the bill and left.
My first ever review which is this negative.
Pics of the waiter (in grey) and his fellow waiter. The food and the drinks as we left the table. And the bill.
The place looked OK otherwise. Food and drinks priced slightly higher, but not expensive. Cant comment on the taste though :). But...

It's the kind of spot that effortlessly combines great food, an impressive array of beer options, and a tempting selection of cocktails.
Speaking of food, we had the pleasure of savoring the fried chicken served with seasonal veggies and a side of fries. But what truly elevated this dish was the delectable gravy sauce that accompanied the chicken. Every bite was a delightful fusion of flavors, leaving our taste buds thoroughly satisfied.
The sheer size of the Busy Bee Cafe is remarkable. It spans a vast area, providing ample seating for patrons. The interior is charming, and what's even better is that it's cooled with fans placed over nearly every table. This thoughtful touch ensured that we could enjoy our meal in comfort.
Yet, it wasn't just the ambiance and cuisine that impressed us; the service was terrific as well. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.
In summary, the Busy Bee Cafe is a must-visit in Pokhara. With its wonderful atmosphere, diverse food and drink options, and top-notch service, it's a place that caters to every aspect of a great dining experience. I highly recommend stopping by and indulging in the culinary delights it...
