We booked this hotel for 1 night. The ratings were pretty good and it was rated as 4 star hotel and the Deluxe Queen Room had a Mountain View, which is why we ended up booking it.
First thing first, we were not provided with any details on breakfast time, check out time and more. When we went into the room, they gave us the 1st floor which had no view at all and all we can see was the neighbor houses. We felt kind of weird cause we had booked a room with a mountain view. Then, I called the front desk and informed them that I had booked a room with the view and the lady at the front desk mentioned she has 2nd floor available but it has got no view too.
Therefore, I mentioned her that it was the only reason to book this hotel. Then she told me that there are no other rooms available as the guest who were supposed to checkout today decided to stay which resulted in having no room availability. After that, she moved us to the third floor and guess what, it was the same stuff, same side(neighbor houses), just a upper floor and the view was same. At that point, I was just over it and decided to move on with whatever the situation was.
This kind of situation should have been taken care well since we do pay for the rooms and they are charged according to the amenities and views. My point is if we are paying a certain amount then why are we not getting facilitated and provided with the service we paid for. And at the end, even after paying for that room, we were not provided with the room we booked for.
Secondly, the wi-fi is horrible. We tried to connect it several times and it kept on getting disconnected and won’t work at all. When we made a call to the front desk couple of times, the guy kept on saying that it was not working earlier but now it has started working. But the Wi-Fi never worked and we had to stay without the internet. And the Tv in the room was also not working and it kept on saying access denied.
Concluding, I had a bad and frustrating experience with this place and I would like to request the management to provide the guest with what they have paid for and a good facilities...
Read moreWe were very disappointed with this resort. Not worth the money!
It doesnot stand up to its name Resort, its more of an hotel that you would be happy paying 30-35 dollars per night. We paid whopping 61 dollars per night for a place that is totally not worth it (stayed for two nights 13 and 14 April). It doesnot have a facilities of a resort, the compound of the hotel is rather small and gated, there is no swimming pool nor a place to chill. The rooms were clean. However, the staffs at the reception were rather too serious, formal and disinterested- missed the Nepalese hospitality. No greetings were exchanged on the new years day. The staffs at the restaurant didnot know how to serve dishes, they would bring items without clearing the table of pre courses we had ordered, looking at us and not knowing where to place the newly arrived dishes. We obviously helped moved the empty plates but were tired at the incompetence of the staff.
We would avoid this place in...
Read moreMy room was spacious and comfortable. It had a small refrigerator that functioned. A small safe that was not bolted down and could have been picked up and carried away. The shower head needs to be replaced as the water sprayed every which way. There's no door on the shower and so the water floods into the bathroom unless you roll up a towel and lay it on the floor as a barricade. But the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine, although it was not on when I arrived in the room was 26° C. The breakfast is quite adequate. They have a list from which you can order then they make it up on the spot. The front reception desk was quite responsive and timely. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The first day I had to swat a few flies in the room because the door and screen to the balcony had been left open. All together, I was satisfied, comfortable, and would come...
