My experience at San Chon Korean Food was absolutely delightful! The taste of the food was incredible, with each dish bursting with flavor and leaving me wanting more. The bulgogi was a standout, with perfect seasoning and presentation that brought a new level of excitement to the meal. The sound of the sizzling bulgogi being served added to the overall experience, leaving a lasting impression. The chicken gimbap was equally impressive, offering a smooth texture and a medley of delicious flavors. Additionally, the San Chon coffee was a pleasant surprise, providing a satisfying end to the meal. I must also give a special mention to the side dishes, each one adding a unique and delicious fermented flavor to the meal. Overall, San Chon Korean Food exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to return for another fantastic dining experience!"

My fiancé and I had lunch here while staying at Pokhara. I was looking for Korean Restaurants for my fiancé to taste some Korean food. And this was a great place to start off with. This was his first time eating Korean food and it didn't disappoint him and me. We both enjoyed the food. The server was very attentive too. Price is a bit pricey for few items. We were here to taste the food so it was okay. I recommend the place if you are in Lakeside, Pokhara. It's a must to visit if you love or like Korean food. Or just want to try Korean food.

Coming from London to try Korean Food in Nepal and to be totally honest, I was let down. The service was very poor, the waitress’ weren’t welcoming at all with no ‘Thank you’s or ‘You’re welcome’s. They walked away whilst we’re ordering our dishes? Just zero customer service. We dined in as a family and they forgot one of our dishes, the jjajangmeon arrived cold as if it came out of the fridge and complementary water was not served like in all other Korean restaurants. Walked in with high hopes and walked out with disappointment.

"San Chon Korean Food is a game-changer! As someone who wasn't initially a fan of Korean cuisine, this place has completely converted me. They serve some of the best Korean food in Pokhara, hands down. From the flavors to the presentation, every dish is a masterpiece. The only downside is during rush hours, seating might be a challenge due to its popularity. However, the friendly and kind owner adds a personal touch to the dining experience, making it all worth it. A definite must-visit for any food enthusiast!"

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. My first time having Korean food so nothing to compare it to but everything we tried was delicious! The servings were very generous too. The cook at the table pork belly was super tasty and a fun experience. One waitress helped us as we had never done this before and we were a bit unsure of how to do it properly. She was really helpful and friendly. The restaurant is spacious and airy with a nice relaxed vibe. Definitely recommend! Will be back to try more dishes soon 😍

I don't usually post reviews often, but I had a really good experience dining solo at this restaurant . I had the bi bim bap and the soju cocktail. Green tea was provided as soon as I arrived. Bi bim bap was really good size portion great taste and came with a lot of side dishes. Cocktail was delicious, everything was a good price and staff were attentive and friendly . If your craving Korean food while in pokhara this is the spot for you, just make sure you bring your appetite.
