Very poor and slow service and condescending owner. Half of us were not able to eat !! We were a party of seven people today. We were seated outside. We waited 30min to get our tables cleaned (they were very dirty and we asked for it twice). And we waited for another half hour to get our drinks. And another half hour to get 4 bagels out of 7... they just kept on forgetting our order even though we asked the waitresses 3 times for it ! In total we waited for one hour and a half to get only half of our order !! Other people arrived after us and were served before which is not professional at all. And when we complained to the counter about the 1.5 hours wait and missing order, the owner condescendingly replied that we shouldnt come complaining and should have come earlier to signal the missing stuff ! No...

I go to Bagels&Beans a lot, really like the one in Almere, but this particular branch keeps disappointing me! A few months back me and my boyfriend went here but decided to leave after waiting for over 30 minutes without any waiters noticing us and taking our order. We were sitting in a really prime spot, couldn't really overlook us.

Today we went there and we left with pain in our ears albeit the food being good (as is the standard for Bagels&Beans). The waiters are so uncareful with dishes and cutlery which means they make these super loud and annoying noises. Fortunatelly, we were being served quite fast (+/- 30 mins), so we ate fast and got out of there asap. If you want to have an enjoyable meal and a nice place to sit, I wouldn't enjoy this Bagels&Beans, the one in Van Baerlestraat is...

I'm a big fan of B&B in general. However, this location is a disaster because of the very rude owner. We wanted to get some breakfast, walked in and chose a table next to the window since we wanted to enjoy watching the street life. For some reason the door was opened. Since it was 3 degrees Celsius outside, we kindly asked the service to shut the door as it was really chilly inside. However the owner forbade to close the door in a very rude manner with an attitude " either accept it or get the hell out of my place". This guy needs to learn some manners! Thankfully, there are many other locations of B&B in the city so we are going to support the nice ones and not this guy with zero customer service standards. We left the place as I do not support business owners who...

Stopped here for breakfast after visiting the Anne Frank House, around the corner. Had a breakfast combo which was made up of a bagel (you can choose from several varieties but I suggest getting the sourdough!), rich cream cheese (delicious!), jam, yoghurt topped with goji berries and seeds, XL coffee or tea, freshly made fruit juice (loads to choose from), a small piece of wild salmon, slice of cheese, a couple of orange slices and a little portion of chocolate sprinkles. For two of us this cost us approx. 20€. Service was friendly and quick, despite the cafe being full. The Salmon portion was very small (my only quibble) but the sourdough bagel and cream cheese made up for that! Try the raspberry juice (Framboos), it's gorgeous.

Most of the menu was not my preference, but I was too grumpy and tired and generally overwhelmed to find another place to eat. The waitress who helped me suggested that downstairs was quieter. Though there was no one down here with me, it is still an acoustic nightmare, and I could hear everything upstairs loud and clear. The Porridge Pleasure I had was smaller than I expected but much better than i expected. After eating it, anything larger would have been too much. It ended up being the perfect size. Generally, it is a nice place if you want vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian bagels. I came in miserable and left feeling much better.

I wanted to leave a review because the food and drinks here are good. The service was lovely. But - I know we had a big group of 8 - quite a bit of our order was wrong, and we waited quite a while for it to arrive, so we put up with it, ate and left pretty quickly. Personally, I was really happy here, my order was correct, such a cute place, and I really feel for the delivery workers. Love the sounds from the menu, very unique and memorable As for my family, they wanted me to rate it a 2 star. Keep up the good work guys.
