Excellent spa experience. I went on a Sunday morning and it was relatively quiet. This spa is in an old bank vault so the aesthetics are really interesting and unique. I got a 60 min de-stress massage which comes with an hour of access to their wet area beforehand for 155 Euro (plus optional tip). I arrived early to get a short tour of the facility. The person who checked me in was kind and helpful, offering me water or tea and a green detox shot. She showed me where things were and got slippers in my size, and a locker with a robe and towel for me. I changed into my bathing suit and went to the wet area. The wet area requires bathing suits, bans cell phones, and is all gender throughout. There is a very beautiful small pool with light music playing, a hot tub, a dry sauna, a wet sauna and a cold plunge. There is also a shower and a fire bath but the fire bath was out of service when I went. I enjoyed all parts of the wet area. Other patrons mostly respected the signs asking people to be silent. There were about 6 other people there during the hour I was there. I mostly had each area to myself as we all rotated through. After the wet area hour I got my massage. My massage therapist was a man and was friendly, explaining everything he would do and asking about my problem areas. During the massage I asked for more pressure and he got to a level that was perfect for me. It was very helpful with tension and stiffness. I would get this kind of massage again. You are asked to either wear your own underwear or wear a disposable thong they can provide. A few things to note: 1. You should book in advance. It was not very large so there are limited spots. 2. There are stairs throughout the facility. One full flight of stairs to get down the the wet area, a different full flight of stairs to get to the treatment rooms, and several smaller sets of stairs throughout the spa. If you cannot manage stairs, this is not the spa for you. 3. The spa is very dimly lit. It add to the ambience but walk carefully! I didn’t notice one step (the floor and walls are black) and almost fell. Just pay attention when you’re walking! Overall, very...

We booked the 'tropic like it's hot' treatment which included entry to the facilities (spa, sauna, steam room, heat pool, plunge pool and lounge) and most importantly, the 2 hr spa treatment, Inc full body massage, head massage and facial. Went in feeling tense, left feeling almost floaty. Each part of the body got sufficient attention and felt relaxed after the treatment.
It was definitely a great experience. The spa/pool area was on point, almost like an ancient temple, dark, peaceful and calming.
We couldn't get the package with the afternoon tea, but the Duchess looked great, so definitely going to try get that next time to level up the luxury.
Only one thing I missed for the full experience was the spa "smellies" - the essential oils that most spa treatments have to feel fully immersed. My boyfriend did get the essential oils so I guess it differs between the massage...
Read moreCame here with my wife for a massage and using the spa facilities on Jan 1st 2024.
They had zero bathrobes left due to ‘holiday season’. And no towels in the dressing room.
What made this worse that staff at spa reception were not proactively telling people this upon arrival but after you changed you realized that that was no bathrobe or towel (!) in the dressing room. I had to get dressed again to go outside and find staff who then brought a single towel.
Staff informed us that they have not received clean bathrobes for 3-4 days so this was not even a one-day issue.
Found it rather unprofessional for a spa located at a W hotel to not be prepared to have towels and bathrobes, basic thing for any spa.
The massage by Clayton was really good. Also the spa facilities were nice but in the sauna, there was a 1-2 cm deep pool of water all over the ground. Staff saw it several times,...
