I recently had the pleasure of dining at this new Asian restaurant in Amsterdam during a company dinner, and it was an absolute success. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and refined – perfect for both professional gatherings and casual evenings out.

The service was attentive without being intrusive, and every dish was presented beautifully. While everything we ordered was delicious, the highlight of the evening was without a doubt the Peking duck. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor – it truly stole the show and had everyone at the table raving about it.

We went to Chop Chop to celebrate our eighteen-month anniversary, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The décor is intimate and beautiful, inspired by Asia yet with authentic touches of old Amsterdam, like the charming staircase leading to the bathroom.

We started with spicy edamame, a matcha cocktail, and a mint tea. They even added an extra wagyu gyoza to our order, such a thoughtful gesture. For the main course, we shared a whole duck, perfectly carved and served with the classic pancakes and fresh vegetables.

Where do I even start. I thought this place was too good to be true as it currently has 5/5 stars on its opening week. I was proved wrong right away. The waiters are so incredibly sweet and serviceminded. The food is absolutely amazing. I really recommend the fried rice wagyu (best thing I’ve ever tasted tbh) the spicy tuna sushi roll omg a burst of flavor. The tuna is so incredibly tender and creamy! The wasabi is also not a paste but freshly crushed! The pecking duck with pancakes, leek, cucumber and sauce is also soooo good! Overall such a great experience, would definitely recommend...
