I used to go to Krispy Kreme 3 years ago a fair bit, and it's the first time I've ever been there in quite a long time as I acknowledge that it's the first Krispy Krispy I knew of and I know that it is a Takeaway for very very very unhealthy doughnuts as it like extremely unhealthy food in America, and where families take their children for any occasional treat for I kind of know it's replaced Cobb & Co where Families take their children for lunch and dinner, as it's in the exact same location on Ronwood Ave where Cobb & Co used to be, after the remaining Cobb & Co here in Manukau closed down and the former Cobb & Building and facility had to be demolished and taken down as the whole building was gone, but importantly and especially because I've been on a diet, I won't be going to Krispy Kreme very often, and I can only go there just as a random treat, every once in a while, like once a month or once every 2nd or 3rd month of of course once a year also it is by far a special place for families to take their children for a treat once a year as a special mid year celebration to kick off the end of a semester at Primary School or Intermediate, and I know that they make the fresh quality special doughnuts, but we need to be extra mindful that we don't gain weight and really just have it in moderation just on Special Occasions as a end of year treat or mid year treat because I know that it's from America and it's very very very very very unhealthy, so I recommend strictly to all my friends family and neighbors to only have Krispy Kreme just once a year or once every 6 months just as a very special treat as it's ideal for children's birthdays and very Ideal for very special...
Read moreSo I ordered around 6.30pm today. It's NOT EVEN BUSY. Terrible customer service in drive thru . That blonde butterfly haircut - thin looking guy was SO RUDE and LACK OF COMPREHENSION. I asked what was the default size of the cup of the bagel ham and cheese combo, even stating if it comes with a regular/jumbo because I don't want to pay extra for upsize, but he keeps repeating 'it comes in all sizes, just have to pay for upsize'. I got fed up and just ordered it all as jumbo. So I ordered 3 ham and cheese bagel combo + jumbo mocha' without knowing if it has extra. I thought I was gonna pay 29.70 (9.90x3), but I paid $31.20. I guess I PAID SOMETHING WITHOUT EXPECTING HOW MUCH IT WILL BE. THEY DID NOT EVEN TELL US WHAT WAS OUR ORDER AT THE PAY AND JUST LET US PAY IMMEDIATELY, DIDN'T EVEN OFFER TO GIVE US THE RECEIPT.
So after getting our hot drink, it's NOT EVEN MOCHACCINO BUT THEY GAVE US THE WRONG DRINK WHICH IS CHAI LATTE. I'm not too sure if they're trying to trick us because I asked a lot of questions (only because this blonde butterfly haired guy could not understand simple English).
So I went back and told them this is not what I ordered, this guy keeps saying it was confirmed that I ordered chai latte. I am regular customer here and I always ordered mochaccino. I repeated it thrice that it's not my order, so they gave us another 3 low quality mochaccino drink of which it doesn't have enough chocolate powder in there. THIS BLONDE BUTTERFLY HAIRED GUY DID NOT EVEN APOLOGISE. I've always ordered here and I can tell if the coffee is made good or not. I also know as I worked as a coffee maker previously.
I am not coming back...
Read morePoor Customer Service – I had often seen huge lines at Krispy Kreme in Manukau and was curious about the donuts. They must be very good as it is always busy. Last night around about 9pm we were driving past and I wanted to try the Donuts for myself.
So we pulled into the drive-through, no lines (yay!) I was looking at what donuts Krispy Kreme has then picked one that I thought I would quite like.
I also got the Original Glazed donut (which wasn’t that great) also picked a donut that was being promoted on the menu list. Then was placing the order and said – I would like the Chocolate Twirl donut – I kid you not his tone dropped and with a rude tone said ‘ WE DON”T HAVE THAT DONUT’ or something like WE DON”T HAVE THAT IN STOCK. Maybe I am the 50th person that asked for that donut (who knows) but I didn’t appreciate the rude tone and said well it is up on the MENU why don’t you remove it. WELL WE CANT IT IS A POSTER.
I was pretty miffed at the TONE and so I decided on the Hazelnut Donut (still talking to the same guy) – he asked if I had any Nut Allergies so I responded No that is why I am ordering the Hazelnut Donut. Krispy Kreme asks far too many nonsensical questions. There was only myself and partner in the car and 3x donuts. I thought to myself that question makes no sense? So we drove around to the window and I heard the same voice at the window. He asked if we would like them in separate bags. I had already said we don't have nut allergies. Just put them all in one bag I want to eat them. The Hazelnut donut was very nice, just a pity your Customer Service Krispy Kreme...
