Sooooo disappointed...read some reviews and thought should be good, now I wonder if the reviews are fake. The one star is for the packaging, it looked like it was going to be a pleasant experience all wrapped up, like a bundle of joy for my taste buds. How sadly wrong was I? I got the classic burger. It has burger, tomato, cheese, lettuce I think? It was hard to really tell, it was the most flavourless burger I have ever encountered..the tomato and lettuce were tasteless,,.whatever watered down dressings or sauces were pretty much null in void, they could save time and money by not putting them in, because it makes no difference. The burger buns were dry, the burger meat patty was tasteless and dry. I seriously found it near impossible to eat and I hadn't eaten all day. The chips were ok. I probably could have just eaten all the other chips I saw on the counter that hadn't been cleaned up though, would have made me feel better countering the waste of $17 for the worst burger ever. No bag, or serviettes for burger and chips, no sauce offered, just handed to me and off you go. Even McDs you'd get a bag, serviettes and ketchup. The guy didn't even look like he wanted to be there. He probably knew in his heart that what he is serving is below average for the money. You'd be better off walking 10 meters and going to the bacon brothers and getting something from there. They aren't the best burgers in town but they are a damn sight better than this 'Classic' Burger was...
Read moreFirst time visit, ordered a double pattie burger. Waited a fair while but it was very busy (Boxing day) so thatâs probably acceptable in the circumstances but having only one chap making burgers, is always going to be a struggle on a day like that.
As soon as I picked the wrapped burger up, the weight of it (lack there of), suggested my burger might struggle to justify the $24 price tag plus the addition $3 because it was a public holiday.
On this day, Riverside was absolutely packed and almost shoulder to shoulder. Waiting 15-20 minutes was a real challenge as there was essentially no room to stand and wait without others bumping into you. So the atmosphere, not good.
Being frank, the patties were very thin, almost crunchy and were very tasty, but the rest of the burger wasnât anything to write home about. Iâve certainly had as good, bigger or better burgers for less money. Sorry, but Iâll spend that money...
Read moreFirst time trying one, reviews said they're good. They're not!
Got a double Wagyu something burger. No good.
The guy looked depressed and didn't want to be there.
The burger was really dry, the patties were dry and just tasted like oil. Not only did it taste like oil, the oil was dripping out of the burger like a tap, the packaging was dripping oil everywhere, my hands were smothered in oil.
Tasted like cooked in oil cardboard. Yuk!
For a $24 burger it sure was an absolute rip off, it was about the size of a McDonalds quarter pounder, and I must say a Macca's burger being disgusting actually tastes much nicer than this.
I'm not going back until they actually make a good burger and have better service.
Another rip off artists of...
