horrific service!!! As a person who has worked in hospitality and retail for many years I was actually confused about why the two out of three men in the store were hired? Manager was lovely and actually knew what she was talking about. Went to Riccarton and is amazing there! honestly just take the extra 15 min drive to be treated like a normal human. Wish I had bought my iPhone 15 at Riccarton instead so that the Cashel did not get the credit. I did not get offered any mobile protection or security, or offered the different payment plans which I was interested in. They did not even offer me a screen protector. Once at Riccarton the staff were appalled at how I was treated and could not believe they did not offer screen protector, advice on mobile security etc. I was served by Vatsal. My friend bought a phone case from the other man in the store who was strangely unable to vocalise. Took him 25 mins to sort out how to put through the sale of a phone case. He was also very rude, making it known that each request was too much work. He also kept going on his phone while we were waiting.    Read moreThis ONE NZ store in Christchurch city centre is an absolute waste of time, energy, and money. The service we received was unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on the brand. Richie, in particular, demonstrated the worst standard of customer service I have ever experienced â completely lacking in basic manners and professional etiquette. His dismissive and arrogant attitude, combined with providing incorrect information, directly caused us significant inconvenience and issues that could easily have been avoided.
The consistently poor reviews of this store already speak volumes, and my experience confirms why the ratings are so low. It is astonishing that a company like ONE NZ continues to allow such a poorly managed store to operate. Unless immediate changes are made, the most appropriate course of action would be to close this store altogether before it drives even more customers away.
My recommendation to others: avoid this store entirely. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, deal with other providers such as Spark or 2degrees, who genuinely value their customers. ONE NZ should be the last option on your list.

We came in to set my mum up with a NZ SIM card having just moved here from the UK.
The server stood above mum as she sat down tried to explain that she already had a NZ Vodafone sim and wanted to try and make it work again. We were told that wasnât possible, so then we wanted set her up with a new sim. The fact that NZ Vodafone is now âOneâ wasnât explained pleasantly - you can understand the confusion when your google maps photo still has a Vodafone shop front in the photoâŚ
The server didnât tell us his name and had the worst attitude. Rude throughout and left mum feeling rushed and completely unsure of what she had signed up to.
The server was condescending, short and snappy and made us feel uncomfortable so we paid for a package and left quickly.
Mum subsequently went in to speak to the Manager, Jeremy, who was incredibly helpful...
