We were really excited to try this place since the reviews are so great but unfortunately the experience has left us not really wanting to return.

We turned up on a Friday night around 9pm wanting takeaways, thinking it'd be okay since the place is meant to be open till 1am. Upon entering we were immediately told "Can you not read? We're closed", which is just straight up rude and quite frankly unexpected when entering a restaurant.

The place wasn't packed but did not look closed, there were people in there dining.

Give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe the tables were all reserved? So we decided to ring to see if they could do takeaways and was told over the phone that they were very busy and the wait would be 40 minutes. So they were not closed.

Why was that not communicated to us when we entered instead of being greeted so rudely?

Very disappointing to have such an unpleasant experience, we had high hopes considering how well rated it seemed but yeah, not looking like we'll bother...
