Me and my husband was in search of a good kiwi restaurant for our dinner on our 5th anniversary.odeon was suggested by one of our friend and we really really enjoyed the dinner. The restaurant has a diverse menu of Kiwi cuisine, with a range of dishes to suit different tastes. The food is cooked to perfection and has a unique taste that is not commonly found in other restaurants. The atmosphere at Odeon is warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating and beautiful decor that gives the restaurant a homely feel. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they make sure that customers are well taken care of throughout their dining experience. Me and my husband really enjoyed the food and service on our anniversary.and the food is of highest quality. One of the standout features of Odeon is its commitment to using fresh and locally sourced ingredients in its dishes. In terms of value for money, Odeon offers reasonably priced dishes that are worth the price. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the food is excellent, making it a great option for a satisfying meal. Overall, Odeon is a fantastic Kiwi restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. From the authentic and delicious food to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, there's something for everyone at Odeon. If you're looking for a great Kiwi restaurant to try, Odeon is definitely...
Read moreI know have trust issues. DONT TRUST THE CHEF! What a sad disappointment. Paid $170 for my partner and I to dine with trust the chef. What we got to share- First serve- 2 slices of bread with butter- the butter was yum Salmon- was ok but not great, the flavours didn’t hit. Second serve- Brussel sprouts- this was actually yummy and my favourite thing. Beetrot and walnut- the flavours were nice but the two dishes didn’t compliment each other and was weird to eat alone. Main serve- Chicken dish - chicken was over cooked and the chicken skin was tough and disgusting Cold Carrot dish- didn’t go with the other dishes and the flavours were not there for me. Potato bravias- was yum but potato alway is. Dessert- a chocolate mouse and berry dessert. We left it as again flavours were not there. Nice atmosphere however the servers changed about 5 times and when asked what they would recommend I was told that they had not tried anything on the menu except 1 drink so couldn’t recommend anything. Will never go back and definitely not recommend. Over priced for below...
Read moreI’ve now had the pleasure of dining at Odeon twice, and both experiences have been absolutely top-tier. The first time, my partner and I chose the "Just Feed Me" option—which I highly recommend. It was not only incredible value but also a beautifully curated journey of flavour. Every dish was thoughtful, exciting, and delicious.
The second visit was just as impressive. I took my mum before heading to the theatre, and the staff were so considerate of our timing. They ensured everything flowed smoothly and that we were well taken care of without feeling rushed—such a refreshing experience.
The food? Outstanding. The flavour combinations were bold yet balanced, and each dish felt like it had a story to tell. The wine pairings were also on point—clearly chosen with care and a deep understanding of the menu.
The service, the atmosphere, the attention to detail—it all adds up to something pretty special. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Odeon to anyone, whether you're after a relaxed, flavour-forward experience or a pre-theatre bite. I’ll definitely...
