This place is fabulous bar a couple of minor details that dropped my rating on our visit. We were a last minute booking and immediately accommodated. Staff were initially attentive but as the night went on they became very busy & perhaps were understaffed? Our order took one hour & it was just as well there were games as we had children with us! We ordered the fondue & wow just wow - it was just as the other reviews say - it was epic & worth your while! Unfortunately we missed out on receiving prawns on ours & only remembered when we saw everyone else getting them. Staff gave us mixed information as to why we were missed out - we needed to pre order & they’d run out? Another staff member didn’t know why but thought ours looked about right in terms of the protein amount? Yes it did look fine & don’t get me wrong it was delicious but it was disappointing to have not received the prawns as part of ours (2 were ordered at our table) and to have not been notified on ordering it shortly after of the situation. The kids loved their food & it was presented beautifully. Adults drinks were great but unfortunately the lemon lime and bitters we bought for the kids was terrible & I’m not sure why they drank it as it tasted like soda & lime but they left it too late to tell us. 1 October 2017 - I was having an afternoon drink at this bar at a reasonably hot 🔥 Sunday afternoon. The first time I walked in this place, it feels retro and funky. There is a lot of old nostalgia items that goes back to 60s, 70s and 80s. Feels like going back in time ⌚. The lighting(even during the day) is colourful and kinda hippy.

The ground floor is where you can order the drinks 🍻🍸🍷🍾🍹🍺with bar stools and tables for the patrons to eat and drink. There is a mezzanine floor where bean bags and sofas are available for the patrons to chill and enjoy the view, and having their own little private space/ corner. There is a large partially covered area for patrons to eat and drink, and it is also an outdoor smoking 🚬 area.

The toilet 🚽 block is located directly across the main bar and restaurant 🍴 building.

Plenty of parking 🅿.

They accept cash, EFTPOS and credit card payments, for those who want to know.

These two stars are for Laura, but not for two of the two male staff members behind the bar tonight. Being coeliac, and only recently, I ask one of the men behind the bar which cocktails were gluten free. He was very dismissive and proceeded to talk about vodka. He then ignored me and did something else. Clearly I was an annoyance. I kept standing there until the lovely Laura asked if she could help. I started asking her the same thing, until ANOTHER guy behind the bar interrupted her and said rudely that "we can't guarantee anything is gluten free". Defeated, I told them not to to worry about it and walked away.

Laura later found me, apologised on behalf of the guys and gave me a cocktail on the house. She was amazing.

I don't choose to be gluten free nor was I trying to be difficult. I just wanted to buy a cocktail and checking ingredients is something I have to do so I don't get sick. It took Laura all of two minutes to do this and it was much appreciated. Please give Laura a raise and train the other two guys (one had a hat but I didn't get their names) on...
