The Nook Thai Eatery — Restaurant in Christchurch

Absolutely rubbish. I should explain, went there with a group of friends, sat down in the cramp upstairs with the 9 of us. We asked for two bottles of their finest red wine. . What we got was red juice that was expired in wine bottles. It was literally juice, the pre opened bottles were different and tasted the same. We complained in confusion, and they said they're out of red wine. With that we thought okay rough start, we'll still try out the food and hopefully that is better. The waitress took our orders and 50 min later only 3 out of 9 meals arrive slowly being delivered one at a time. . That was it, the other meals were simply forgotten. Outraged we called for the manager and she said nothing she could do and we best to try somewhere else. Much confusion at the counter as they tried to charge us for meals that had not arrived, tried to charge us for the red expired juice. . Just a totally horrible experience. Wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Dine...

Oh boy where should I start. We visit them today me and my 2 young kids and we order quite a few thing and one of that was fried rice for my kids. They brought the plate and we saw REAL ANTS CRAWLING for real.

We showed it to the server and she said oh might be because of the flower on top. We said we understand but they are crawling on rest of the rice as well. She took the plate and came back in 2 MINS after removing the ants with a spoon and bring back the same rice for my kids. They have the AUDACITY TO make an eye contact and saying no we removed the ants with a spoon. Whatttt…. Good knows what the do behind closed doors. I am terrified of this...
