We recently ordered takeout and was left quite disappointed by the mediocre food and service. The dishes received looked nothing like the pictures. The cabbage with vermicelli felt more like a home-cooked dish, and the owner was visibly surprised when I ordered it, mentioning she had to get the cabbage from a nearby shop because she forgot to buy them... (obviously not a popular dish but don’t tell your customer that!) It feels they expect customers to order popular meat dishes like duck and BBQ pork, but that’s not everyone’s fav. The sweet and sour mushroom dish was a disaster, with barely any coating on the mushrooms, the source is meh. The place was filled with customers enjoying seafood and other meat dishes, I am sure they are happy with those but for us unlikely...

对于今天的用餐体验十分的失望。 前段时间偶遇这个小馆，在门口看到过菜单后满心期待地在今日进店小试。首先点了他们的招牌“五杯鸭”，但当看到店家把鸭子从冰箱里取出放入微波炉加热，并非新鲜制作的时候，食欲全无。鸭子上浇了很多他们调的酱油汁，很简单，如果食材新鲜无需过多酱汁掩盖其味道，酱汁只是起点缀的作用。我们点的是鸭，不是酱汁。抱着不浪费食物的态度吃后，除了咸别无它味。（但是有冰箱的味道）再对比一下商家的菜单图片，这是同样的菜吗？真的不敢相信。后来上的牛肉河粉和汤面，白胡椒和盐已经盖过了所有食材的味道，牛肉口感很柴。最后我们实在是没办法继续，所以决定放弃，浪费了很多食物。这真的是一次很糟糕的体验。

Very disappointed with today's dining experience. I came across this small restaurant some time ago. After seeing the menu at the door, I went in today with great expectations to try it. First, I ordered their signature "Five Cup Duck", but when I saw that the store took the duck out of the refrigerator and put it in the microwave to heat it, and it was not freshly made, I lost my appetite. The duck was poured with a lot of soy sauce they made. It's very simple. If the ingredients are fresh, there is no need for too much sauce to cover its taste. The sauce is just a embellishment. We ordered duck, not sauce. After eating with the attitude of not wasting food, there was no taste except saltiness. (But there was a refrigerator taste) Compare it with the menu picture of the merchant. Is this the same dish? I really can't believe it. Later, the beef pho and soup noodles were served. The white pepper and salt had covered the taste of all the ingredients, and the beef tasted very dry. In the end, we really couldn't continue, so we decided to give up and wasted a lot of food. Nice location and cosy place, but most important is the yummy food. Beef ho fun (fried rice noodle) is beyond my expectation, the taste is as good as malaysian char kwe tiauw, it has strong wok hei, fresh chewy noodle with generous bean sprout and onion. Beef cumin is also excellent, the beef cut make it easy to bite and chew, the cumin taste is strong blend with sweetness of generous onion, eat with hot steam rice...
