Wicked Chicken Shore City — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

My wife and I absolutely love Wicked Chicken, and we prefer it over other fried chicken establishments by far. The flavour of their crispy coating is so good, and always so clean and fresh. I also love the fact they serve delicious sauces (and so many of them) on the side, so you can dunk or pour as you see fit.

Appreciate that the climate in this day and age is a difficult one, what with the cost of living and people protecting their wallets so much more, but there are some places that I'd gladly spend at given their attention to quality and also their friendly, kind servce. We really love the owner and the team, and it's always a delight being able to chat.

Our typical go to is the tenders, given that they're boneless and my wife prefers them, however their fried chicken drums are also delicious. Also, shoutout to their chicken burgers as well - best chicken burger of all time. Still working our way through the menu, but it's hard when you've already got some good stuff going!

Absolutely delicious food at Wicked Chicken! Not only is the food incredibly tasty, but it’s also very economical—you get so much more for the price you pay. Every item is freshly made to order, and nothing feels like it’s been sitting around.

A special shoutout to the wonderful lady at the till—she was so friendly and helped me choose the perfect meal based on my mood. Her recommendations were spot on! The kitchen staff are equally amazing, preparing food with skill and care.

And don’t leave without trying their smoothies! They are simply amazing—so refreshing and full of flavor.

Amazing service. Was not rushed when one of us was having a hard time deciding. Bought the food over to us and then checked later if we were happy and asked my daughter why she had not finnished her meal and was wanting to know so they can do better service if something was wrong. Daughter said it was too spicy. She let us know next time let her know so can do none spicy. Next she comes over with some none spicy tenders cause 'no one is leaving here hungry'. This made my daughter's day she was so surprised and overwhelmed by the service . So A++++ to this place. When back this way I will...
