Bolliwood Orewa — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

Ordered my food, provided me with ample 40 minute delivery time, instead i recieved a call at exact delivery time (i ordered at 7.17 online ad per my email, calls on my phone started at 7.56) advising that bollywood orewa had no chocolate cake... but are willing to trade for other deserts. I asked whether they could trade the desert for a butter chicken but because of the difference in price i was to be charged an extra 10 dollars to swap it to a curry ... i replied asking if i was to be refunded the 2.50 for the difference in price of desert as they were priced differently, but no avail they didnt understand what i was saying as if you dont have something and its late you should be offering the customer something else to keep them happy or at least a refund i dont and didnt enjoy or eat the little maple syrup soaked balls 6.50 down the drain... whilst already failing to deliver on delivery times, very dissapointed. Absolutely unbelievable how they were willing to downgrade my dessert with no refund but no chance of the...

Worst Indian food I have had since arriving in New Zealand

Firstly the curry arrives.. but unfortunately non was labelled .. luckily non of us was allergic to the ingredients.

No cutlery so we had curry delivered and we could not eat until we got home.

The butter chicken had a sour taste . That is normally my girlfriends favourite.. she could not finish more than 3 bites.

I had a dakusha or something to that effect ... As I wanted to try something new..the lamb had a weird colour green and was full of fatty sinew. Ended up throwing it out after a small portion and stomach problems ensued .

My friend had a lamb Madras.. he also did not finish more than a few mouth fulls as the lamb was disgusting. Over cooked and probably past the expiry date.

Would avoid this place...

As a lover of Indian food, I find it very difficult find places that offer great service and delicious food at a reasonable price. At times you'll find a place with great tasting food but for some odd reason the next day, the toilet doesn't agree.

I just happened to be in the Orewa area while I waited for my car to be tinted and can say it was absolutely delicious. The service was great, the food was excellent and the portions were good too. I like how the rice was served. Very unique.

Most of all, the garlic naans were clearly fresh and hot lathered with garlic. My only suggestion is to add a bottle of cold water so we don't have to wait for water.
