I wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars!!! This is a newly open bar under Ferg’s, it’s more like a bistro than a bar!!! The dishes are designed to share (tapas style). The nice, friendly, pretty waitress - Maddie recommended few dishes and we basically ordered everything she recommended. OMG they were all outstanding with superb presentation. I’d say “Fine dining with reasonable price”. Besides, after chatting with the waitress about my preferred cocktails, she recommended this cocktail called “147” - if you like not too sweet and abit sour cocktail definitely give it a go. Friends ordered hazy IPA which was brewed locally and the drinks with gin all delicious! We were so amazed by the quality of the food and the service provided by this place, we even wanted to come back next day to try out their breakfast! We as a group couldn’t rank the top favourite dish from what we ordered because they seriously so delicious and tasty. Photos are attached for visual foodies :)

Ferg's Bar in Queenstown exceeded all of our expectations! From start to finish, our experience was absolutely five-star. I tried the Orange Passion cocktail, and my wife had the Pavlova Martini. Both drinks were on the sweeter side but still perfect for a vacation treat. The balance of flavors and presentation made them enjoyable and fitting for the atmosphere. We also shared the Spring Salad Mix and the Croquettes, and both dishes were excellent. The croquettes were crispy and flavorful, while the salad was fresh and perfectly balanced—a great combination for a light yet satisfying meal. What truly stood out was the phenomenal service. Our server was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed, enhancing the overall experience. If you're in Queenstown, Ferg's Bar is a must-visit. Fantastic food, delicious cocktails, and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I just finished our 3rd trip to Queenstown. We have made it a tradition to stop by Ferg’s Bar every day whenever we are in Queenstown. It is honestly the best place to be while you are having some food or trying many of their incredible cocktrails. The staff are the most talented, friendly, welcoming and genuinely lovely people you will ever meet. On top of that, their skills at making drinks and knowledge about alcohol are second to none! Huge shout out to Matt, Kevin, Rob, Guy, Azzi, Annie, Theo, Tim, Enrika, Dorian, and Abbey who made every trip into Ferg feel like we were coming home. Always greeted with a smile, plenty of laughter, and flawless drinks. Whenever we come to QT, we will always visit Ferg’s bar!

My family of 6 has been in Queenstown for 4 days, and we have dinned at Ferg’s bar every day! We will be back for the next 2 days of our stay too. Ferg’s Bar has been our food and drink highlight of the trip. The staff are all wonderful, the food is delicious, the coffee outstanding and the cocktails are out of this world. This is by far the best value dinning experience in the whole of Queenstown. We have a chuckle every morning watching people line up at Ferg Burger, as for the same price you can be dinning in absolute comfort next door (Ferg burger is of course a must do in Queenstown, but Ferg’s Bar is even better IMO). Each and every staff member goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our favourite meals have been - Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon (salmon is amazing!!), my husband loves the Smashed Bacon Hash, my son loves the Açai Bowl, and my mum is obsessed with the hot chocolate. The Bloody Mary deserves its own honourable mention - as the best I have ever had! You have to see it...
