Pantry by Frank's — Restaurant in South Island

REVIEW UPDATE - Thank you Team, for your reply! No explanations were needed with regards to your operating hours - they are indeed, clearly stated everywhere, online and on the door! My disappointment was NOT about not knowing them, was about the cafe closing so early, when you are right at the entrance to the hotel and check in is at 2pm...when you close! Anyway, as disappointed as I was, it's your business and, of course I accept it, you operate it the way you consider right. The truth is, I may have lashed out on you - AND I WANT TO APOLOGIZE - because I am generally fed up with cafés, everywhere in NZ, closing at 2, or if they close later, you can only eat sandwiches from the display window because, guess what, kitchen still closes at 2! NB: Unrelated to you...Some restaurants are not opening for dinner 🙄...I mean, what kind of hospitality industry is this? ............................................................................. One star for the opening hours...didn't get the chance to try any food or coffee - although I was really looking forward to something really close, after a long trip in heavy rain from Te Anau. Staying at Whyndham Garden above...I mean, you can't close exactly when it's check-in time (2pm)...not in my books, anyway...not everyone has lunch at 12, as well as not everyone would enjoy some of the heavier meals on the menu, for...

I love how Pantry by Frank’s is nestled nicely down the road from Frank’s Eatery. I love the peaceful environment, cozy tables, great coffee & morning bagels! Chef Francisco nails it every time with friends service from Ruvi & Luka. I have officially tried all the bagels, in rank order; Mornings here, Joey Tribbiani, Melt my heart, eggcelent, hey pesto, avo good one, Salmon say bagel.

RUVI who works here is one of the nicest people and one of the best baristas I have ever seen! The latte art that she makes is absolutely mind blowing and fantastic not even Leonardo DaVinci can make art that beautiful. Every time I go in for some coffee, she never fails to greet me with a warm smile and hug. She truly is the best and her customer service is unmatched, always making me feel welcomed when I come in.
