Had brunch here today before going to Lion King show at Spark arena. Cafe is about 300m from Spark Arena so nice and close.
Ok there is both a cabinet choice for food or a menu. We chose big breakfast (see pic) costing $21. You can choose types of eggs you want and comes with a couple slices of toasted sour dough bread and butter. It was ok, just average for cost.
We also ordered hot cakes ($10.50) with maple syrup and whipped cream. This dish was delicious but needed more syrup.
There was quite a delay in between the two different meals being brought out. Hotcakes came out first so the person had finished their meal well before the big breakfast came out.
We also ordered two takeaway hot chocolates which were luke warm not very chocolatey, no marshmallows and too milky.
We also asked to bring a table inside as there werent any available, it was freezing outside and there was plenty of floor space available inside. Person had to go away to get approval. Staff should be allowed to make simple decisions themselves without owner needing to control everything.

Their coffee menu is extensive, with a wide variety of hot and cold beverages. I highly recommend their Espresso Very Vanilla Chiller, which was absolutely divine.
I’ve been visiting for over a year now and breakfast has really gotten better. I quite enjoy their offerings and can usually request my eggs to be cooked the way I like it. I also take my 3 year old son to have breakfast on Sundays and he loves the waffles. It’s a quick and easy spot for a nice family breakfast.

Read moreTerrible. We ordered a cheese scone and a blueberry muffin and two coffees. Both food items were dry and hard to eat unless taken with coffee. The muffin was tasteless. The cutlery one of us got had not been washed - the knife was encrusted with a thick layer of eggs on both sides; it was really impossible not to see it. The fork had traces of dried food between the tines. The plate also appeared unwashed - brown spots and greasy surface. Worst, when the coffee was delivered, the guy's finger was not only touching the rim of the cup but was dipped in the froth. When I pointed that out, he looked at the froth on his finger in grear surprise. By far the worst café experience anywhere...
