Jeepney Filipino Restaurant City — Restaurant in Waitematā

I ordered with Doordash. A Siesig and a Chicken Inasal with Java Rice. I did not recieve the Chicken Inasal. The package had 3 staples, correctly pinning the inseem of my name in a sealed paper bag.

I called the store to inform them of my missing item, and the lady and I agreed because I had no issue ordering food from them that I would get my missing item on this next order.

I ordered a Palabok. I did not receive the Chicken Inasal as promised, even mentioned it in my note. I tried calling, they picked up, waited for me to say something and hung up. HUNG UP 3 times on a customer. I didn't even say anything other than "Hello". This was at 4:10pm on a weekend to add more context.

Doing business this way will is crazy, and will only negatively impact it. Considering I approached the mistake from the most charitable position I could.

The food was mediocre, portions are hilariously small for $27. Do yourself a favor...

Very nice atmosphere at this place. It's a combi of Kiwi-Pinoy experience. Those who hasnt been to the Philippines, please try to dine at this restaurant. It will bring you the experience of being in Manila. The food was great! Their pork bbq was devine, tender, and juicy. Their halo-halo taste so good, and their palabok brings me back the childhood memory of my favorite food. Food was beautifully presented (see photos). I missed taking photos of the rest of the food we ordered. This restaurant definitely improved so much from the first time we were here a few years ago. I went with my Filipino friend so he understood the menu and I was looking for things I would be happy with, fair enough, Kiwi Hamilton guy. Ok, keep it short. The food was great for me, pork skewers. I think the calamari and lumpia was bought in frozen. I cooked in London 20 years. In backwards location it's Prime. Done some backwards gossip. Husband and wife team, she's cooking and he's front of house. Food good, could be better.
