We had the pleasure of celebrating our little one’s birthday here today, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their kind, friendly, and respectful demeanor. The customer service was truly outstanding, offering the best I’ve encountered across all the restaurants I’ve visited. The lady who served us (apologies, didn’t get your name) is the sweetest!

The ambiance of the restaurant was equally impressive, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience. The food itself was immaculate — each dish was presented beautifully, with vibrant colors and careful attention to detail. The taste and aroma of every course were absolutely delightful, making it clear that great care is taken in the preparation of each meal.

The restaurant went above and beyond to make the celebration extra special — they turned on extra lights for us to take pictures, brought candles for the cake, and even played the birthday song without us asking. These thoughtful touches made the occasion feel all the more memorable and were so sweet of them to do.

Our family visited the place for dinner as the name sounded new and had good recent reviews. After reaching we realised it was another business we are at in the past, we were curious what could have changed. There weren't any other patrons when we visited so we had full attention of the staff.

The menu was comprehensive and had a choice for all dietary needs. Vegetarians won't be disappointed. All the items we ordered were very tasty and delicious. The portions were very good for the price. The pepper chicken fry I ordered was very authentic as I would get in India and the chicken was cooked to perfection and succulent and spicy.

My 9yo kid has Veg noodles and had raving reviews for it. She took some home for school lunch the next day. Rotis, parathas and veg Manchurian were all awesome.

The drinks menu however could be improved with a little bit more choices in the liquor and cocktail section.

The ambience was somber as a renovation is under plan and the place felt a bit cold due to absence of a heater since the door wasn't fully sealed. But the owners have promised this will be rectified after their renovations are completed soon. But these can be excused as the quality of their food and the chef's indulgence.

⭐ 1/5 – Shocking Experience at Urban Vibes – Poor Food & Zero Hygiene Standards

One of the worst dining experiences ever. We ordered: • Chicken 65 – Never arrived. The staff didn’t bother to bring it or even acknowledge it was missing. • Gobi 65 – Completely undercooked. The batter was raw – returned it after the first bite. • Dahi Puri – Absolutely terrible. Soggy, bland, and nowhere near authentic. • Chicken Noodles – Drenched in oil. The noodles were literally floating in it – inedible. • Veg Manchurian – Overcooked and greasy. No flavor, just a plate of oily mush.

To make things worse, there was a person openly vaping inside the restaurant, and the staff did absolutely nothing about it. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene and health compliance.

@AucklandCouncil – this venue clearly does not follow basic food standards or public health rules. Strongly urge a health inspection and policy enforcement.

Avoid Urban Vibes at all costs. Poor service, awful food, and blatant disregard for customer safety...
