The Fiddler Irish Bar — Restaurant in Waitematā

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Ms. Milani B during my visit to Fiddler Irish Bar, and I felt compelled to share my experience.

From the moment I arrived, Ms. Milani's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. She greeted me with a genuine smile and was attentive without being intrusive. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive; she offered excellent recommendations that truly enhanced my dining experience.

Throughout my visit, Ms. Milani demonstrated exceptional service skills. She was quick to refill drinks and check on my table, ensuring that I had everything I needed. Her positive attitude and friendly conversation added a personal touch that made my time at the pub all the more enjoyable.

In addition to her outstanding service, Ms. Milani maintained a professional demeanor even during busy times. Her ability to manage multiple tables while still providing personalized attention is commendable.

Didn’t even make it into the door. One of the employees standing outside asked me “where have you been?” I didn’t think I heard correctly as it was kind of weird how he asked me, so I thought maybe he said “how have you been” I replied with “I’ve been good”. He asked me the same question again and this time I replied with “Around Auckland”. He then asked me a third time and as I was in the middle of giving an answer he cut me off and said they won’t be serving me and walked inside the bar, when I tried to get an explanation he just kept saying he won’t serve me. It was extremely rude and weird. I hadn’t had any drinks at all and just wanted to relax over one or two cold ones but ruined the whole experience honestly and I just went back to my Airbnb. The only thing I could think of is that I was supposed to reply with some pass phrase after he asked me where I’ve been. Idk if that’s the case, but I wouldn’t waste my time coming here if you haven’t been before and don’t know anyone. I would not recommend this...

Hands down this is one of my favorite spots in all of Auckland. Everyone here is super friendly with incredible vibes, fantastic bartenders, great locally sourced beers, and yummy cocktails. Location is a plus with fantastic views from the rooftop on a sunny clear and breezy summer day. This was my first time in New Zealand visiting from the US and I would highly recommend this bar to everyone looking for a good chill spot to lounge and meet new people. I loved it so much I stopped in for drinks several times while walking throughout this beautiful city. Great food...
