I want to write about my bad experience today with Egon. There is an employee named Katarina who is very rude, has bad taste, and does not know how to deal with a customer. I think she is treating me in a personal, racist and hateful light. This is the second time she has treated me in this racist manner, and I will file a complaint against her because it caused fear. To my son and She terrified him with her ridiculous racist words, and she did not respect us as a customer who paid money to sit and I want to write my very bad experience today. I have been a client of Egon for more than 14 years, and we always go to celebrate my children’s birthdays, or with friends. Today, my 14-year-old son and I went, because his mood was very tired because he had two operations a month ago and he will have one a week later, I asked him for a pizza buffet for him, french fries and cola, and at the cashier an employee of a certain nationality was the one who took my order at the cashier. Shortly after, he came to our table and was talking to me rudely, loudly and impolitely, and told me that we are adults and we ordered a pizza buffet for children, even though he is the one who took my order at the cashier, so I told him, no, we asked for a buffet for adults, and when he saw the payment receipt, he said to me, “Well, why don’t you eat, do you share the same buffet with your son?” I told him, “What do you see in front of you? only one dish of pizza still not eaten just my son ate the French fries, so we felt embarrassed because everyone around looked at us as if we had done something wrong, so we left without my son eating. On the contrary, I took him to calm him down but he returned home very sad about the situation, and I ask Egon’s administration to take away our rights from this employee for me and my son, because we did not do anything wrong. just because he is unhappy to see us there this his problem,we are a very good customer and never such this happened with me before,i felt racism against us
Delicious food, friendly staff, nice area but A big problem, which is that if you do not have a prior reservation in the restaurant, you must stand waiting and no one cares about you for at least half an hour or more, although there are many unreserved and empty tables with no one on them and there are no employees enough for the number of customers, and also the pizza buffet must wait time Long until they come to the pizza, and when ordering food at the counter, the food is not prepared before 45 minutes, and this is a very long time, especially with the...
Read moreWe were in this restaurant on the weekend, I wish I hadn't gone there, we were cheated in payment, they counted our portions twice for what we ordered, the staff heard that we weren't speaking Norwegian and there were 2 waiters discussing us, and I understand a little Norwegian because I'm learning Norwegian now, I wanted to make a remark to them but my husband said don't pay attention, the second thing that surprised me and it's not acceptable when pizzas are open at the aisle and people walk past, it really amazed me, you should go to Ukraine or Lithuania or Germany, these are the countries that can be given first place in terms of how restaurants work there and how the staff works, like Swiss watches, they really train the staff very well and the waiters there serve food to people in special gloves, and the food is not in the open where someone can bring their germs there, such as tuberculosis. And in the end, as we were leaving, there was enough space, but people were standing in line at the aisle in the cold and not a single waiter responded to them and many simply left. The staff is not well-mannered, they do not know their job, they run around chaotically. This restaurant near the train station works on quantity and not on quality. My husband and I spent 1600 kroner for two and I came home, we live 20 minutes from the center of Oslo, I wanted to eat at home because I was not full there. I was a frequent visitor to different Agon places, but I will not go to this address anymore and I will not recommend it...
Read moreWe planned to go for their pizza buffet option which is available until 6pm. We arrived just before 4pm on a Saturday and thought this would give us plenty of time. There was a queue which we joined. As we had more than two hours, we didn't really worry about the queue. There were roughly 15 groups/couples ahead of us, which I didn't think was a lot for a restaurant with 600 seats. But the queue moved much much slower that expected. 1hour and 15 minutes later, we were first in line. But then nothing happened anymore. At some point we asked a waiter what was going on as there are so many empty tables, yet lots of people behind us were all still standing in line. He said the kitchen is overworked and it would take another 10 minutes to get a table. 25minutes later we were still standing in line..... All staff ignored us as well as the other people in the queue. Even though we were first in line, we gave up when we heard that it would take (at least) another 40 minutes to get food after ordering. I get that restaurants can be busy but some information along the line would have been better than being ignored. Furthermore, the buffet option would no longer be available as it was well after 6pm when we left. Probably for the best anyway as the very same pittzas from when we joined the queue were still at the buffet, nearly untouched as only two customers had gone to the buffet during all the time we waited. I doubt they would still be very good pizzas. One star is for having menus in...
