Flame restaurant truly offers something for everyone, with such an impressive variety of dishes that choosing just one is a delightful challenge. Helmed by the talented Chef Luis Chikiamco, the menu showcases his culinary expertise and creativity, offering a dining experience that is both refined and approachable.

I started my meal with the scallop ceviche, which was a perfect balance of freshness and flavor. The portion was just right, leaving me fully satisfied without feeling overwhelmed.

The Wagyu nuggets, however, stole the show early on. These bite-sized treasures are like a sophisticated twist on chicken nuggets, designed for adults with a refined palate. The nuggets were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the dipping sauce paired so seamlessly with them that each bite felt like a perfect little indulgence.

Next up was the Josper grilled chicken and the Take Out Lobster Fried Rice. The chicken was cooked to perfection, moist, tender, and beautifully grilled. But what truly elevated it was the tamarind purée. It was so flavorful. I accompanied the dish with a side of their heavenly potato puree and Mac and cheese. Both were excellent choices.

Then came the pièce de résistance: the Take Out Lobster Fried Rice. This dish was nothing short of divine and was presented in an adorable Flame branded takeout box, adding a touch of whimsy to the experience. Packed with lobster, chorizo, prawns, and a medley of other delicious ingredients, every bite was an explosion of flavor. Honestly, it was almost too beautiful to eat, but I managed, of course.

The portions were generous, so I happily ended my meal with leftovers to savor later. Throughout the evening, the service, led by Chantelle, was impeccable, attentive without being overbearing. Combined with the spectacular city views and the restaurant's modern yet cozy ambiance, it struck the perfect balance.

To top it all off, my cocktail, the Thai Colada, was flawless. It had just the right mix of tropical flavors and a refreshing finish. I would have ordered another if I hadn’t been so wonderfully full.

Executive Chef Luis Chikiamco and his team have created a dining destination that is truly exceptional. Flame is a must-visit, whether you're looking to entertain guests or simply enjoy a lovely solo meal like I did. It's a place where modern sophistication meets warmth and comfortable. I already can’t...

My husband and friends wanted a nice steakhouse to celebrate my friend's birthday for our last night in Manila. The restaurant is located on the 16th floor of Discovery Primea hotel. The views are wonderful during the day and night. There's also indoor and outdoor seating available. My friend decided to choose this spot since we saw that they had oysters, foie gras, and all that good stuff. For appetizers, we ordered Steak Fries, Crispy Salmon, Duck Gyoza, XO Oysters, and Grilled Bone Marrow. My husband and I didn't care too much for the fries and crispy salmon, but we definitely enjoyed the duck gyoza, grilled oysters, and the bone marrow. I really wanted to try the scallop ceviche and snapper crudo, but we were hesitant on trying anything raw since we were from out of the country.

For our entree, my husband and I shared an Excel Ribeye from Colorado topped with seared foie gras accompanied with a green peppercorn and brandy sauce. We enjoyed our delicious steak with the foie gras, but we didn't really care for the green peppercorn sauce. My friend and her fiance ordered the Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass and the Prime Tenderloin. We ordered our steaks with a side of Truffle Cream Mac N Cheese and Pan Roast Mushrooms. Both sides were fantastic. So good! We had leftovers and had the 3 items again for breakfast, and they were still amazing! The mushrooms were especially my fave - that sauce? Mmm, chef's kiss.

Now, onto our desserts. My husband and I ordered the Panna Cotta, while our friends ordered the Pineapple Consomme and the Miso Cheesecake. All the desserts were beautifully made. They were literal works of art. The panna cotta didn't feel like a panna cotta to us - not sure how we would describe it since the white part of the dessert had a firmer texture than the orange part. The pineapple consomme was very different. It was cut up pieces of fruit, with some kinda of pineapple juice or sauce poured over it. Similar to a fancy fruit platter. However, the miso cheesecake was definitely the crowd favorite. Loved it.

Overall, I would definitely recommed this spot if you're craving some kind of steak. The service and quality of everything was immaculate. Super glad my friend...

I Love Aussie Lamb Fest Kicks Off in Metro Manila! 🇦🇺🐑🥩 The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) brings the premium taste of Aussie lamb to top dining spots in the metro, continuing the success of the Lambassador Program led by Chef Robby Goco.

📍 First stop – Day 1 at Flame Restaurant, Discovery Primea (August 19) Helmed by Executive Chef Luis Chikiamco, the restaurant served two exceptional Aussie lamb dishes — both impressive in flavor, presentation, and creativity!

✨ Dishes we tried:

🐑 Australian Lamb Shank Biryani 🇦🇺 – Coconut curry, crispy shallots, cilantro, wrapped in flaky puff pastry 🥐 – Served with mango chutney and a tomato-red onion relish 🍅🧅 💬 Super unique twist on biryani — beautifully tucked inside a pastry dome. Tender meat, rich curry flavor, and the chutney added a sweet contrast. Loved this creative take!

🐑 Jasper Grilled Australian Lamb Chops 🇦🇺 – Premium White Stripe lamb from Victoria’s southeastern ranges – Served with roasted garlic, cherry tomatoes, and a green peppercorn & brandy sauce 💬 Perfectly grilled, juicy, and flavorful. The sauce complemented the lamb so well. A classic done right!

💯 Honest Take: ✔️ Both dishes were beautifully plated and perfect for sharing ✔️ Meat was tender and full of flavor ✔️ Flame’s interiors were elegant and cozy ✔️ Service was excellent from start to...

The Experience at Flame: They served us two different dishes showcasing the versatility of the Australian Lamb; - The Australian Lamb Shank Biryani - Josper-Grilled Lamb Chops Australian Lamb Shank Biryani (coconut curry, crispy shallots, cilantro, puff pastry, mango chutney, tomato-red onion relish) - this was my favorite on our first stop. What surprised me most was how the pastry perfectly sealed in the aroma of the biryani rice. Unlike the strong scents I usually expect from biryani, this one had a subtle fragrance- and the lamb itself carried no overpowering smell at all. That alone says so much about its quality. Paired with mango chutney, it gave me what I'd describe as a "butterfly effect" in the stomach- spicy, meaty, and balanced. A must-try if you're looking for bold flavors done classically. Josper-Grilled Lamb Chops (White Stripe Australian Lamb, Victorian Ranges, Southeastern Australian Roaste Garlic and Cherry tomatoes, green Peppercorn, and Brandy Sauce) - Smoky, rich and flavorful. This one is for when you want something indulgent and classy. Perfect with a glass of wine, of course.
