Their place is an eye candy for the shoppers. Many people are eating here. We thought they are only a cafe. That sells drinks and tarts. But they also have a menu for lunch/dinner.

Their egg tart is superb 🔥👌

Though their place is quite small.

Ordering system is like Tim Ho Wan, or other resto that has a checklist paper of what to order.

I very much like their menu, because it has pictures in it. So you'll know what it looks like.

Didn't notice if there is a restroom.

Food was great. Tasty and Delicious 👌 Roast pork belly was soft 👍🏻 easy to chew. A bit budget friendly- because the serving is big.

So far, this is the only resto that I have eaten with a not so good and irate servers 😓 Okay, we dine there at lunch time. I'm not sure if they are scheduled to have a lunch break. But that time, we have seen several servers on that day. I even approached the lady host how to order because none of the servers were entertaining us. It was like one server per table in charge, or we are not sure if they are all new? (Because several of them were wearing white uniforms) and few of them were just pointing to other servers. Until we saw a lady wearing black (I believe this was their manager/supervisor) who took the orders from us. And she was angry that time because she also saw the servers in white uniform aren't doing anything.. just standing near the cashier. Good thing, there was this man in polo (i believe a Manager/supervisor) who was taking orders as well. Bottom line is, good thing there are managers/supervisors who are in duty. Or else, I guess many people will be irate and/or will leave the place. Even when we ask for the bill, it took us long. So I guess they are all new. Except for the servers who were wearing yellow uniforms. But still they are also pointing us to the servers who are in white uniforms. It is so confusing, right? 🤔

But oh well, i am not after the service, i am after the food 👍🏻

I just hope you won't experience what we have experienced. And I hope they will improve. Especially if Honolulu Cafe has other branches outside the Philippines. And if they can improve on this, I believe sooner or later they will have branches here in Manila.

Even so, I still recommend them 👍🏻 We will be...

I’ve decided to try this place out because it was new in the mall. When I got there, I waited for around 5 minutes to get seated despite the place not being filled due it just being 3pm. As I finally get seated I was not attended to for another 5 minutes. When they took my order, I was aware of how long my food would take as the cooking time was specified in their menu, so I waited the stated amount of time. I later followed up on what was taking my order so long and they reiterated that my order would take 20 minutes to cook despite it being over 35 minutes since i placed my order. When I finally get my order, my chicken came out RAW. This is very unacceptable and I feel like my order was just made by the time I followed up on it because my drink order was only served right after the follow up. After advising them that my order was raw, they took my order back to the kitchen and afterwards served me the same chicken but REFRIED and now the chicken was black and burnt. This is very unacceptable. Would definitely not recommend going to a place that would serve raw chicken as this violates food safety guidelines. I can’t believe I waited over 40 minutes just to be served RAW chicken. Along with this, I also take issue that they only refried the food that they have already served to the customers (assuming that they would also use the same batch of oil that they would fry their raw chicken in) This is straight up food contamination. I had half a mind walking out of the establishment if it wasn’t for the drink order which I have yet to pay for. Before I left, the manager came in and decided to comp the chicken but I had to decline as I was just very eager to leave the establishment and the bad experience that came with it.

Attached are pictures I’ve taken thru out this experience. This was supposed to just be a 30-40 min dine in which later ended up being over an hour. I would not recommend...

My husband and I went to Honolulu cafe at around 6:15pm January 15, 2023. We just want to order coffee and the famous honolulu tart and the curry balls we love when we always visit it in Hongkong. So we were seating infront of the entrance. We placed our order using the usual pen and paper system that they use.

When my husband raised his hands for the third time your female manager in beige blouse and black pants long hair in ponytail shouted at my husband "YES SIR I WILL GET BACK TO YOU!" it was a very harsh irate tone that even the couple besides our table looked at her. I told her "SIGE HINDI NAMAN KAME NAGMAMADALI, NOBODY WAS JUST TAKING OUR ORDERS". We were not even in a hurry.

REALLY! NOBODY was trying to accommodate us, so I told my husband to just bring it at the counter. Until your irate female manager called the attention of a male staff in training who then took our order. I raised my voice at her also because how she delivered it made me raise my eyebrows. I totally get the message she was under pressure taking orders from a chinese national who probably was demanding too much, the branch was understaff and some employees are still in training. But as a manager in charge she should handle grace under pressure.

After she realize that I am not really happy with her service earlier she went from the grumpy manager to a fake accommodating one to the incoming customers.

We have always go to honolulu branch in SM Aura often and there seems no problem at all.

Please train your people on how to handle things politely. Her name was Leanne when I asked the employee in training who...
