Review: Japan Town, Glorietta Mall (4th Floor, near the cinema)
Japan Town at Glorietta is a hidden spot—a little too hidden, in fact. Located on the 4th floor near the movie theatre, it feels more like an afterthought than a feature. There are no visible signs or promotions from the main areas of the mall, which is a missed opportunity given how long it took me to discover it—despite frequent visits to Glorietta.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t improve much after stumbling upon it. The area feels neglected. The general maintenance leaves much to be desired. The central “Japanese stage” is unkempt, with pots lying sideways or overturned, and a noticeable layer of grime that makes the whole space feel unloved. It’s clear the restaurants operating here aren’t coordinating to keep the shared environment clean and inviting—which ultimately hurts them all.
Japan Town could be a cool, atmospheric dining spot if Glorietta gave it the attention and signage it deserves—and if the restaurants banded together to maintain the shared space. As it stands, it’s more of a missed opportunity than...
Read more"Japan Town" is located on the 4th Floor of Glorietta 4, accessible via escalator. If you can see the sumo wrestler figurine behind the glass window, you can reach the place, opposite K-Park, and also near the entrance of the Holiday Inn & Suites hotel thru Flavors Restaurant.
The top floor of Glorietta is used as a japanese-themed plaza, where each corner lines up several Japanese restaurants, whether you prefer a short-order menu or unlimited shabu set.

Ambiance is simple and what I really liked is that you can enjoy late night dinner in quiet. Think that this is actually hard to find in a busy place like Glorietta so I would say that this is a little pice of heaven.
