I honestly wish we could rate 0. This was possibly the worst experience I ever had eating in the Philippines.

To start we were seated by the manager and throughout the meal I still was unaware of who our waiter was. We received no water so we had to ask for it to be provided. Upon request, it was provided. Meanwhile, we watched other patrons receive theirs with no issue.

So next we ordered the tour of Italy, which came with unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks, raspberry and classic lemonade, and Strawberry and chocolate brownie for dessert for later. The salad, breadsticks, and the soup arrived. The server was a guy who gave us a dirty salad plate, that looked as though it's been overwashed to the point the ceramic was stripped away and thrown in the back of the cabinet to mold away.

The third issue was we didn't even get unlimited soup, salad, or breadsticks. We watched everyone else get refills. The guy server refilled the soup one time and after that took the salad bowl the breadstick basket and the soup bowl away for the rest of dinner. And we never saw him again after that.

By this time still no drinks only the water we asked for in the beginning after about 20 minutes of waiting. By the way, the soup was the only decent thing to eat there.

Finally our main course, the tour of Italy arrived. The lasagna was honestly mid, about a 4 or 5. Tastes nothing like what I'm used to back home. Everything was underseasoned. The pasta was arguably worse at around a 2. They had salt and pepper on the table and that didn't even save it. It tasted like they cooked the pasta in the dishwasher and then threw it on the plate.

And boy the chicken parm was the absolute worst. The outside edge was ok however, the inside was still pink. My wife unfortunately didn't pay much attention and ate quite a bit before I noticed it. I wish I had taken pictures before they took the plate away. However, they did attempt to make up for it by cooking a new one. Even though the time it came they overcooked it to the point where it left a bad burnt taste on your tongue.

Oh, and the drinks still haven't arrived after we waited until the main course was served. Looking at everyone else, they received their unlimited, and each table had its drinks, at this point, we were like where is the service?? So we asked for our drinks.

So we received our drinks finally after asking the server for the other tables. I'm not sure if she was our waiter but I wish she was and if she was supposed to be our waiter then I wish she was more attentive.

At this point, we noticed another table received a wrong order, something with their shrimp alfredo. I'm not sure where the breakdown was but I'm keen to believe there's issues in the kitchen given the fact of our botched order. Roughly a few minutes after that the chicken parm was delivered again. However, at that point, I was beyond upset and my wife started to feel sick and wanted to throw up.

I reminded her that we still had desserts to wait for so we gave it a few minutes and guess what. Yup no service, no one attentive, and yet again it would be on us to ask yet again for our order. So instead we asked to bill out.

Only then did they come to the table to talk about our desserts, which we prompted them to just cancel it.

The service was horrendous, the food was awful for the price. It's not worth it in my opinion. I would suggest Mama's Lou if anything or at least a different olive garden. This was the first that I tried here and probably would be my last. Maybe it's just this branch but my God heed the warning and avoid.

Long story short, we returned home and immediately my wife puked...

With a 3-star rating, a visit to Olive Garden in Glorietta Malls, Makati, proved to be an average experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, ideal for a quick lunch with friends. The restaurant serves unlimited breadsticks that are warm and soft from the oven.

Pasta E Fagioli, with white and red beans, ground beef, tomatoes, and tubetti, was a delicious starter. The Lasagna Frita, which was parmesan-breaded fried lasagna with alfredo and meat sauce, was an interesting dish, and the sauce was a good dip for the breadsticks. A half-pound serving of bite-sized shrimp and vegetables, including zucchini, bell peppers, and eggplant, was hand-breaded and lightly fried until browned and crispy. It was served with marinara and spicy ranch, and it was delicious.

Children would enjoy the Kid's Pizza, a kid-sized cheese or pepperoni pizza with homemade marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. The Seafood Alfredo, Olive Garden's signature alfredo made with parmesan, cream, garlic, and butter and topped with shrimp and scallops, was a letdown. It lacked flavor and needed salt and pepper to be more flavorful.

The raspberry lemonade was a refreshing drink that could be refilled. Dessert was a sweet treat to end the meal, consisting of Chocolate Brownie Lasagna cake and Italian doughnut Zeppoli.

Finally, the Olive Garden experience at Glorietta Malls in Makati was average. The unlimited breadsticks, Pasta E Fagioli, Lasagna Frita, Shrimp Fritto Misto, and Kid's Pizza were all excellent choices. The Seafood Alfredo, on the other hand, lacked flavor and required additional seasoning to satisfy the taste buds. The welcoming ambiance of the restaurant, friendly staff, and satisfying dessert made the...

Worst customer service and dine-in experience we’ve had yesterday. From the incorrect order, without explanation but just “wait”, to asking for water 3-4 times. We have decided to call their manager where she did her best to appease us offering freebies and not charging us, but we refused. We basically wanted our orders. After 10 mins, half of the incorrect pasta (we were given a small portion then gave us the other half after we have reported), we realized the the gnocci soup we were served previously tasted similar to sopas bec the next one tasted like the real one. When the pasta entree was served I noticed they were offering fresh grated parmesan but we were not offered that, this time the assistant manager saw our dumbfounded glares and gave our pasta the cheese it deserves. As a goodwill they gave us a slice of strawberry cheesecake for free. Then we asked for the bill, paid it thru credit card. After we were handed the receipt we realized the items on our paid receipts were not even our orders. I would like to further narrate but I am sure you know where are coming from now from a disappointing start to a dismaying end of our dining experience, truly was an awfully unfortunate one. Yvonne the manager did her part by apologizing over and over again as she, too was also appalled. She then offered us not to pay our bills anymore. Food wise, it was nothing special, Cibo and other pasta resto can offer to top it all, the experience was just horrible. To think we even went from PQ to Makati and tried to look for their location to try what the hype is about. Please train your servers and staff more, there were only 3-4 tables outside...

Our first experience at the Olive Garden Glorietta Branch was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service was lacking—we were seated for about 10 minutes with no waiter in sight to take our order. We ordered two entrees that came with unlimited sides and drinks. However, the staff later returned to inform us they had no ice and cancelled our unlimited drinks, pushing us to order canned soda instead. This was unacceptable, especially since we saw nearby tables being served unlimited drinks *with* ice. It seemed like they were selectively offering proper service to certain customers, which was frustrating and unfair. To make things worse, we were only given one serving of unlimited breadsticks and salad, despite clearly ordering two entree sets. It’s unacceptable to pay for two and be given just one. The overall dining setup wasn’t great either—we were seated at a makeshift table with a tablecloth that had visible stains, which did not give a clean or comfortable impression. As for the food, only the soup and the chicken Parmigiana stood out. The pasta was a big letdown—it wasn’t cooked properly and lacked the texture you’d expect from an Italian restaurant. Overall, the poor service, unfair treatment, and inconsistency in both food and setup made our visit an unfortunate one. We hope the management takes steps to improve both their service standards and quality control.
