No, No, No and an absolute No. From my reviews you will see we are always trying out Sangyupsals, although this is not one, the concept is given a Japaneese spin.
To start with the service is pathetic. Only 3-4 tables filled and about 12 staff just fooling around.
I asked the guy to explain the meats he brought, he mumbled, said something and left, did not even bend down to point or try to hear me better. What is your rush?
The table doesn't get cleared. I had to ask for my table to be cleared because he was bringing and dumping the next batch of meat on top of the dishes. What? So had to ask him. Once again, clears few leaves the rest and rushes off to go chit chat with his colleagues.
The plate we eat does not get removed even after we come back to the table with a fresh plate. Absolutely ridiculous considering only few tables were full.
Table time is 90 minutes, 40 minutes in, a female staff comes in and says you have 10 minutes left, last order please. We are shocked and I show her my timer I set on my phone which has 45 minutes left. She does not believe me but goes back to check and comes back to acknowledge. In the grill section there is just one more table, so how can you confuse yourself?
The meats are dry, some are just plain bad and stale and dehydrated. No one keeps an eye on the grill so we had to be on alert.
Note to staff, when your customers ask a question pay utmost attention and make sure you answer and clarify. All you do is stand there, make jokes, laugh and chit chat while customers are clearing their own tables.
I spoke to the manager who profusely apologied and offered a 20% discount but I refused and paid the full bill.
There is not one item of food there that I liked and I will never go back there and you should strickly avoid it.
We paid 2,700 for two for the premier...
Read more🌸Food - We tried their Kintan Buffet, it includes 12 meats, rice, side dishes, udon carbonara, japchae, maki, shrimp, fish, desserts (ice cream) and drinks (without beer). Though it's a bit pricey, considering that you can already get a lot especially for beers with this price with other korean buffets or unlimited restaurants. My favorite meat was Rosu Spicy Miso flavor. The udon carbonara was also delish. The Kintan is a must try too. But all in all, the meat was lean and tender that it was all worth it.
💮Staff/service - There are many staff inside and outside the restaurant. They are so accommodating and friendly. They initiated to change our grilling pan and answered how it was being cleaned. They helped us a lot and their service were superb. I liked that they have name tag so we know their names. Kudos to the staff especially to Ate Sam and Kuya Ralph who helped all throughout our stay.
🌸Place - the place is quite big and clean. I like the ambiance inside. It's good that they also has their own comfort room inside. They have separate options with shabu-shabu and the one who choose to have the buffet only.
🌺 Recommend - 👍👍 Would definitely try their Shabu-shabu next time

Read moreUnfortunately, their cost-cutting measures have noticeably impacted the overall dining experience.
• They recently revamped their menu, removing popular items like Iberico pork and salmon temaki, and replacing them with more basic offerings, such as rice bowls.
• It’s also puzzling that shrimp is consistently unavailable. At their Mitsukoshi branch, I was informed that shrimp can only be ordered as part of the seafood platter and is not offered as a standalone order. I encountered the same issue at their Greenbelt branch.
Perhaps it’s time for Shaburi to reevaluate their pricing strategy to avoid compromising the dining experience. Customers, myself included, would be willing to pay a premium for quality dishes that were previously available, even if prices need to be adjusted accordingly.
Update 2: Gave them a second chance. Dined in and tried to avail the special shabu buffet set. I was told that salmon strips were no longer available. To my surprise, however, I saw these waitresses deliver the same “unavailable” salmon strips to these foreigners. How could the same thing be unavailable to some but available to others at...
